- They begin the penultimate of the Jesus Tower in the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia. That is the 11th of 12 levels of the highest tower.
It is a video about the progress of the construction of the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, recorded between 20 and 22 May 2024.
I am recording the movements of the works of the Sagrada Familia to publish a video every week. I would like to continue it until the completion of this unique architecture.

On the official facebook page of Sagrada Familia, they said that the tower of Jesus will be hopefully completed in 2025 instead of 2026
construction completed in 2025, but "opened" probably June 2026. There will be a lot of dismantling work in between, I think.
@josepmariasoleraragones4366 indeed I think once they finish putting the tower in place the interior will need to be decorated as well as all the scaffolding which will need to be dismantled which would probably take around 6 months

Muy buenqs de nuevo Dodonde! Una pasada! Ya el penultimo nivel antes de empezar con el pie de la cruz! Cree que antes de septiembre terminan con un nivel mas? Que es lo que queda antes de la cruz?
Hola! No sé cuando terminan otro nivel. Puede ser en septiembre, después del verano! Estaban trabajando mucho el interior de la torre. No podemos ver, pero supongo que deberían terminar el interior antes de la cruz. Ya veremos!
Según unos comentarios interesantes de abajo, en la base de la cruz, habrá paneles con 7/8 hexágonos de texto.
Que bien ya solo falta otro nivel mas para que empieze la cruz

Como es pociblr construir la entrada principal si la viviendas lo molestan😢
Las viviendas se eliminarán para la gran obra de la escalinata. Existen 9 propuestas, yo apuesto por la gran Rambla de dos manzanas. Estos días están celebrandose reuniones con el Ayuntamiento y vecinos. Supongo analizarán los plazos de desalojo porque saben los vecinos que no pueden negarse a trasladarse. Sus viviendas fueron adquiridas a un precio muy favorecido con la condición de "temporales".

I've been looking on this drone footage and the guy that told me about the reason why façade of glory 4 towers can't be build because of apartment could be wrong, there's no problem about the apartment because its not even near the church,it's in the road separately, so the façade of glory 4 towers could start construction by 2026 after the tower of jesus
Exactly. The problem is the staircase-bridge on the other side of the street, but the Gloria façade can be built.

Je ne suis pas fan de cette prouesse ingenieuriale, ni des sculptures emblématiques des 4 apôtres qui la couronnent .
Comme une impression de kitsch...
N'était-il pas préférable de laisser l'ouvrage inachevé, que de s'acharner à vouloir le "terminer" ?

Je respecte toutes les opinions et tous les goûts, mais il est amusant de constater que les gens rejettent l'architecture moderne pour le lieu de culte. Moi aussi, j'aime les petites églises austères, mais pourquoi n'aurais-je pas droit à une église d'un autre style ?
Et j'imagine ce que les gens ont dû ressentir au moment du passage du roman au gothique, ou du gothique au baroque... Rejeter quelque chose de nouveau est tout à fait normal.
Et je me souviens que lorsqu'il n'y avait rien à l'intérieur de la Sagrada Família - pas de toit, des pierres partout, et des ouvriers qui travaillaient dans la nef - beaucoup rejetaient cet état de fait, en disant avec colère "où est le maître-autel", alors que pour les touristes japonais, c'était très excitant et amusant de voir une église "inachevée". Alors peut-être que pour ceux qui veulent prier, l'aspect du bâtiment importe peu, ils veulent un lieu de culte avec un toit et un toit fini ...
