Hey man, always a amazing video! I wish they made the old school 5.11 covert pa k from the 2016-18 era. I wanted to ask you about your opinion on two subjects. 1. If you where to pick a higher end 35-40liter pack for colder weather, what grey man get home bag style bag would you recommend? 2. Woulf you carry a sleeping pad of some sort? Know they are bulky and they take time if they are the blow up type, but creating a brows bed is also time consuming. If you did take a sleeping mat what would you choose? Also Last but not least what handgun would you recommend for a concealed carry get home situation if you don’t have much experience? Thanks for the video!

Thanks! I'd recommend the Vortex Overlander. It around 45L, has a lot of features and doesn't look tactical. It's not cheap, but it's high quality. In cold weather, I'd definitely carry a sleep pad. I'd go with the Exped Ultra 7R. It's lightweight but has good insulation.
My daily carry pistol is the S&W Shield Plus in 9mm. I also, carry a Glock 19 on occasion. I'd say either a Glock or M&P and get training, so you know how to use it. I hope that helps!

@@theaveragewoodsman6002 That helps a bunch thank you for your reply! I have looked at the vortex overlander. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the zipper going all the way down the pack. Most packs are unfortunately like that these days. If the zipper fails it’s pointless. I’ve looked into the hidden woodsmen deep woods ruck as an example. Those are two great pistols to carry. I was thinking of the s&w shield due to its thinner body. I have smaller hands and a smaller frame. Also it’s a good entry pistol from my research. Yea! That exped sleeping pad is amazing. I have Thermarest pads mostly.

@Skellanuts Of course! If you don't like that zipper system, try the Fjallraven Kajka. The Shield is an excellent pistol.
