I have been a bit busy with our move to the Western Cape , and with that an increase in the amount of travwling I am doing for my day job. So getting time to shoot videos and editing them has been reduced alot. As soon as things calm down again , I will do more videos. Thanks for the support👍🏻

If you use an iPhone, I recommend hiding a silent Airtag in your Jimny. This way you can track down your stolen car easily.
AirTags are great, real bargain. My elderly father keeps one in his wallet so I can keep track of him from the other side of the world where I live.
For this instance , its more for protection while you are in your Jimny , ZA is not a safe place especially in the cities and car hi-jacking is a real danger everyday. Most south Africans have GPS car trackers installed in their cars that track them 24/7 and have response teams to retrieve them , its not like you can go fetch it yourself🤣

Hi Jean-Luc , yes I have tried the 5 door. Its capable offroad , and a bit more comfy than the 3dr , but performance onroad , the 1500 engine is too small for the extra weight , fuel consumption will also be more . Now adding accesories will hamper the performance and consumption even more.
Would this unit also fit on the previous Jimny models? And maybe other Suzuki models [Swift etc]?
This will not work for older models , make contact with Autotechshop and ask which other Suzuki models they cover.
Do you have the manual that says what each dip switch do. I have same box but did not come with a manual
Whatc the video , I mention the dip switch settings multiple times.

Are you still using the KO2’s?
Hi yes , still have the KO2s on , but they wil need to be replaced in about 5k , got 85k out of them.
It seems a bit ridiculous that we need to buy an accessory for over R1000 to do what is surely a simple coding issue that would not surprise me is already programmed into the car & can be activated via the vehicles computer.
Hi Kelvin , that is exactly what this module does , since it still uses the the features of the car to add the functionality. But with the benefit of an easy interface to enable and disable functions. The features we get as standard is very limited in ZA , since they are trying to keep the price of the Jimny low , due to our inflated import costs. So R1400 is not bad for the safety features it provides.
How to open the cover of the dip switch?
Just use a flat screw driver and carefully slide in in the seem between the 2 covers.

Will the tough dog 40mm lift suspension kit be alright on the 5 door jimny ?
I think because the 5dr is longer the 60mm Tough Dog will provide better clearance on approach , break over and depature angles.
Why would you want to have auto locking ?
We live in South Africa where we have thousands of car jacking incidents per month. Since Jimnies are very popular in ZA we need this safety feature to protect ourselves and loved ones from this lawless country.

I ask that because 40 of my friends that I started cycling with in Cairo Egypt, safely Cycles all the way to Cape Town without a problem with anyone.
Because I got pneumonia I ended up being in airlifted to Nairobi and staying there for a month walking the streets and having a very good time .
Yes, despite what the taxi driver seat, I walk to the streets for two or three hours each day to regain fitness .
Here is South Africa criminal target you while in traffic. They open you doors and steal your valuables while you stuck in peak hour traffic or at a traffic light. We have to drive around with our door locked. Its a very nice little safety add-on for peace of mind.

@@justjimny the issue with auto lock is that it engages when the car is already moving, thugs can stand right outside your gate and attack before it activates.
The best way is to get used to locking after starting
