Megan did such a brilliant job, Karen had amazing and hilarious chemistry with pretty much every recurring character and guest star on the show. Jack, Rosario, Beverley Leslie, Gin, Lois, she was in her own universe, and not because she was drunk and high most of the time lol, RIP Suzanne Pleshette💖

Usually the women picked for impersonation have alto or belter voices. It's difficult to imitate the high pitch of a chirpy soprano if your vocal folds are of a certain size and thickness.

As a person with naturally curly hair, I understand why.
Straightening curly hair can cause it damage and cause curly hair to stop being curly.
It’s the reason why Nicole Kidman no longer has her naturally curly hair; she has said this in more than one interview. Kidman damaged her naturally curly hair so much from straightening it,
I am guessing for movie roles and red carpet events, that her curls never were able to come back from it. As a naturally curly haired person (which she is), I am sure BP knows that, and that’s why she wouldn’t agree to have her curls messed with. As for Kidman, she has said that she misses her curly hair and wishes she had it back.
It’s good BP had boundaries and stood up for herself.

I like how strongly they emphasize how unimportant the gender/sex of Karen's high school dating partner is. What's important is the relationship and the intimacy that they had together. It feels more real than what we got from Will & Grace about "being so proud" in regards to sexuality.
