Hi there! I am Joseph.
I have been an immigrant / expat living in central Portugal along with my beautiful girlfriend Mariana for eight years now.
Together Mariana, my father Clinton and myself, would like to show you a bit of the daily goings on around our Portuguese farm / homestead / smallholding and all of the work we are doing whilst renovating, starting building projects, working with our livestock, DIY and trying to grow our little families own food!

This is a good one , thank you, and your absolutely correct best to buy both and have it as one place and join both houses as one, I just wish I had the money haha
To be honest above my small budget but love the home being more off road and an extra home to create more space (for my son) in the future, to bad about the molt and not many fruit trees, but potential for sure. Love the uploads and seeing such options for smaller budgets.

Would you kindly consider including the following information in your videos - habitation license, water availablility in summer, if it is legal to have a borehole (in some areas in Portugal it is no longer legal at all) and if the mobile network signal is present. Nice properties Joseph and it makes sense to own both of them. The 2 properties on Google Earth measure aprox 11500-12000 sqm together. Please update that sketch to reflect the size. Ahh no, sorry it’s because where the well is has a separate article which doesn’t appear on the drone map (my mistake), meaning in total both properties equal 2.1 hectare

I think the cheap one might be a good starter for me! The carved number looks more like 1720 to me!? I think that one was built 1st and then the other one was added to it? Question the lovely properties you show us each week, do they have to stay as farms, can they be transformed or turned into camp sites or rv parks, as you know us English hate the cold weather, if it can be transformed im surprised the locals dont buy it and advertise it peace and tranquility lol
from what I know it will take several years to process an application of this kind to the local municipality and they usually not too kind when it comes to changing anything.

Joseph, how is it possible that the buildings are join together and it is two different properties .Why not market it as one property, does the two properties belong two one owner and do the house have inhabitants right's
It’s possible because it’s two separate properties advertised as such. I cannot market it as one as it is two. The buyer has every right to purchase one or the other or both together 😊

Would you advertise a house that does not meet planning requirements ? Just checked one out with a pool but the pool was illegal !
I personally would not advertise something that is illegal (unless there is something I missed of course), but I always tell people to get their own legal representative to check everything out prior to making an offer etc 😊

Also something is incorrect in your drone-shot blue markup. 15000 should appear less than half of 37000 on that image, but 15000 part looks even larger than 37000 which is impossible even if you account for distortion in perspective due to camera location.. can you check?
