Another popular sound is "Shouryuken" (Shou-Ryu-Ken). Now they want our gang names too?!" lol.
Artists are coming from different regions, liking one or the other is just personal preference, but, to be fair, when didn't regions compete, they should have equal amount of judges from both places. Home court advantage is always given to the person from the area. Life ain't fair.

Go rap in Toronto, New York, Florida--ANYWHERE away from California, so you can't say things that would only get a pop in a Cali. The loud crowd reaction is making people think some of the things Okwerdz is saying is better than it is.
Arsonal has a very similar style to QP Or E Ness. It's a quick multi flow that that usually isn't written. Very different from say Okwerdz or Thesaurus.

I’ve always said these battles were historical in bridging gaps between two different cultures who’d otherwise may have never known each other without Hip Hop. Since 90%+ battle rap fans are from the NY/NJ/Philly area, it’s obvious which style is going to be more preferable.
