  • We spend a great deal of energy in a state of reactivity. After feeling, we are conditioned into responding and doing. If we feel badly, what are we going to do about it? How can we influence our situation, control our circumstances?
    On the surface we are actors in our own drama. We have lives, plots, and it all appears to have substance.
    What happens when we relax our need to react to how we feel?
    Insight Meditation Community of Charlottesville (IMCC) is dedicated to the practice of mindfulness awareness, also known as Insight or Vipassana Meditation. IMCC provides a full program of weekly meditation, ongoing classes, daylong programs, and retreats.
