The biggest problem? Not enough Manitobans understand the realities of modern agriculture and food production. Agriculture is one of Manitoba’s largest industries, but today’s students aren’t learning enough about the work you do to become the informed voters, consumers and decision-makers our industry needs to thrive. Meanwhile, the gap between consumers, the food they eat, and the people who produce it grows ever wider.
