He got caught with 5x illegal PEDs including growth hormones lol. Greatest roider of the decade...after Jon Jones but only because he gets away with it.
I don't think it's pride, he just doesn't want to come across as talking bad about other fighters and not being transparent about his own past.
There's a body building coach on CZcams called Greg Doucette, very knowledgeable. He talks about how to use PEDs, and trashes people using the wrong stuff or whatever. I'd love if Chael gave some tips/advice in this, just once, it would be very interesting.

Casual Fight Fan it brought the sport to a new generation of fans and made it mainstream. If we’re going to be honest the UFC didn’t have a wide demographic before Conor, it was really just American and Brazilian meatheads (there’s nothing wrong w that, I’m a meathead ahahaha). Conor brought the entertainment factor and dragged massive amounts of eyes to the sport, making it mainstream in the US and bringing Europe into the UFC in a much bigger way than it had been. His impact in the sport is undeniable and the stars around now show it’s not all about trash talk. Khabib doesn’t talk and he’s a massive star, Nate can’t talk and he’s a massive star, Jorge (while able to talk very well) doesn’t really like to and is a massive star. The UFC is in an amazing place now because of Conor.

That's why Jones isn't the FOTD. This isn't the wild west anymore; we've got USADA and stringent drug testing provisions in place now, and being yoked to the gills ain't acceptable. Jones is a disgraceful representative of the sport who has been given opportunity after opportunity to prove that he is more than his detractors claim he is (a filthy cheat on multiple fronts), and has failed to do so. Not sure about the decade, but i know GSP is the G.O.A.T and did some pretty great things in the earlier years of the decade, then coming back and winning the MW belt so he may very well also be the fighter of the decade. Silva and Jones peds, so who does that leave, ppl they didnt even mwntion really. GSP, Jose Aldo, DJ they are prolly still the best fighters of the decade as a whole, we just on the newer ppl, but if u take silva and jones out of it for PEDs, then it had to be between those 3, cuz those are the top 5 easily, followed by khabib and DC

Yair vs KZ is also in my top 5. But my favorite, and I know there might be recency bias, but Usman vs Covington is my all time favorite fight. The massive build-up, trash talking, bad blood, and how similar both these fighters were, AND how the fight somehow surpassed the massive expectations placed on it, propels this fight as my fight of the decade. Plus Covington having his jaw broken and wired shut is poetic justice like we've never seen in MMA.
Can't believe there wasn't even a mention about MacDonald vs Lawler 2. Especially from the Canadian.

Have to concur with all of Ariel's choices. Very few times have we seen two guys look equal at the very top of the sport like Jones vs Gustafsson @ UFC165. Happy to see Sonnen mention Yair vs Zombie. Would also consider McDonald vs Lawler @ UFC189 for the pure violence from both and refusal to quit - plus that stare down between them mid-fight is the greatest image in MMA history that I can remember

Angel Garcia he never beat the true champion at LHW, he lost three times within this decade (twice to jones) and he hasn’t been in as many title fights as JJ. Give it a break, DC is the second best fighter of the decade and it’s no debate.

DC’s reign as LHW champion will always hold more value in my eyes, than however many defenses Jones will get. DC never failed a drug test, never refused a fight and always had a height/reach disadvantage when he defended his title.

The fight of the decade is a tough one for me personally. I like to see a ton of action, but also a ton of technique on the feet AND on the ground, and honestly it's really rare. I can't even think of one off the top of my head quite yet but my memory sucks
