Apollo & Athena's kid brother,Zac,would've been glad to see Apollo getting married but would he be sore of not being chosen as the best man for Apollo & Serena's wedding?
She had been a fashion model and the part was beyond her acting abilities which was very apparent on a lot of scenes. Wasn't her fault, she had no experience. Also she didn't know it yet but she had Epstein Barr Syndrome which saps your energy and makes you lethargic. She wasn't diagnosed until after BSG. Larson, who by all accounts was a jerk anyway, just thought she was being lazy and not learning her lines and putting in the work so he wanted her gone. I imagine BSG wasn't a very pleasant experience for her all in all which is probably why she's the only main character who's never attended a single BSG convention.
Maren deserved better..and Larson blew it when he diluted her role....you can’t make the leading lady who was the face of advertising of BSG and then take her away. Even the paintings of the promos had Maren front and center. Marens acting was great...she could have made the difference for a 2nd season.
And you've got to give the Commander credit for not holding it against Starbuck - I mean two-timing his daughter...But probably he thinks of him more as a second son, even before Zac got killed.
Everyone in this thread has it all wrong. Athena dumped Starbuck. Kicked him to the curb when he finally manned up and wanted to take things to the next level.
@@hot2warm True. And while most 'players' stay that way, there's a certain breed that if they ever do actually commit, they mean it. One suspects Starbuck is the latter group. I suspect if he ever actually married someone, he'd be faithful.

In Larson's books it is different. Apollo is with Cassiopea and Starbuck is thinking of Athena as the one.

yeah Starbuck in old version didn't frak Apollo.I wished they were same for new BSG even if Starbuck was female.
I'm just watching again all the episodes ... how that show was great. And especially when you compare to the stupid reboot they made 25 years later.
