yes thanks, I recently bought the miyoo mini plus and just love it, here I am a 64 years old grandmother no less but it is an amazing little toy and has all the games I loved to play when video games and consoles hit the market back in the early 90's. My screen froze two weeks after buying it and I thought oh no please tell me it is not so, when the screen froze all the buttons as well as the power button stopped working so I was going to take battery out and put back it in hopes that would clear the screen. When I opened it up I could see that one of the battery wires had broken off from its plug.. I bought it thru amazon and got a little insurance plan for it, I usually do with electronic devices and so I started the return process online and requested a new miyoo mini plus for replacement rather than credit for the cost. Amazon was very cool about it and a new one is being shipped. They told me to just keep the one I have as they will not accept returns with lithium batteries(even though they mail them all the time) so cool, I think I will see about buying another battery and either keeping it or gifting it to someone if a new battery clears screen and it runs again. I think it is a great little handhleld and compared to the nintendo switch or the new steam hand held the price is so much less. I also loved the fact it is wifi capable but you don't need it to play and even better you don't have to have sign in or remember passwords. Cant wait till my new one arrives I already miss it. I thought it was funny they include the flash drive It allows you to go online to download even more games and then copy them onto the t-card as they call it. My thought was you mean 5000 games isn't enough? I probably won't ever need to do that
Thank you, your video showed me which way the tiny battery plug is going into the socket. I am just about to start my brand new miyoo mini plus and it came with the battery disconnected.
I had this device for 2 or 3 days and the miyoo logo screen came on and just stayed on. The buttons would not work and it said online remove the battery I tried to do it with a screwdriver but I did not push that hard with it so I treied to pull it out gently and the little plug came off of the wire. I am going to get replacement battery from Amazon and take it down to a repair centre and have it installed professionally, that is if the tiny socket in the battery compartment is not broken. I also wanted to ask if there is an online software to unbrick it should it happen again. If there is please send me a reply
Just got two in and one of them stopped working randomly. Someone suggested I remove the battery, found this here... Mine had no budge, tried unplugging it like this, then made the mistake of pulling lightly on the wires to see if it was loose or anything, and the wires came out very easily. Even without them removed it seems utterly immovable, and I don't think I can reinsert the wires safely without having the piece removed. Frustrating...
you can go online there are a couple of websites that have that battery. mine was only like six bucks when I bought it. Plus if you pulled the wire out and it does not have a tiny little metal piece on the end of it then you are not going to be able to fix it, if it does have a little metal piece on it you should in theory be able to insert it back in easily but if not and you keep trying those wires are thin and bend them to many times it will break off . Its just a pain cuz the parts are so small it certainly is frustrating
I also watched this and tried to remove my battery, the plastic from my JST connector on the battery like disintegrated as soon as i used any force. Opted for ebay replacement battery over Aliexpress purely due to shipping times, 1 week vs like 6 weeks.
just a fair warning, i tried this method and mine did not budge an inch. i used a similar tool to what he was using and i eventually bent the plastic piece far enough to disconnect the battery. i tried pushing it back down afterward to reconnect, only to then push the piece further down and i heard a snap. -1 miyoo mini plus. be careful
edit- i got the plastic piece out and even tugging as hard as i could as an adult man could not seperate it like the guy in this video did at the very beginning. strange. seems they superglued mine down

My Miyoo Mini Plus is just like yours, it doesn't light up for nothing
Try It while pressing the power button hold the volume down. It worked for me.
