Do you think getting to know the Circle of 4ths/5ths and how for every Major there's a Minor and back ways? You can play C Major Pentatonic over A Minor Chord and an A Minor Pentatonic over a C Major Chord since they're the same notes. Have you tried 4 note chord soloing. For F Major play F G A C or D F G A ( Extension would be C D E G or A C E G to get more of a Major 7 Major 9 sound and so on for D Minor )? If you have can you upload a video of what you've come up with ?
