About SIREN:
“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove-a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb are also attached as executive producers.

tony glover Agreed, I just hope that the police officer doesn't try to catch her. Think if she were to end up at the police station (she wouldn't) but imagine her trying to speak or make sense of what's going on when she is with people she doesn't trust

I like the relationship between Donna and Ryn. Even though they fight often. I also appreciate how the show subconsciously speaks on alot. Especially the environment, ecosystem etc....
Yeah and they never fought until they had their (polar opposite) experiences on land. I like that detail. Donna is probably so upset because she doesn't understand how her little sister who she raised could act like this. I love this show.

I wish they had made a language out of sounds/musical notes or just psychic communicating because as much as I LOVE this show, the fact they have no mermaid mode of communication or identification beyond the human world (so far) seems like a big plot hole.

maybe it goes further than "you hurt me so I hate you!" It seems that the Sirens have more trouble finding their food. They are hungry. At some point, this will lead to a war for the control of the ocean and its resources.

The whole time I see this I think Ryn's Donna's sister and they love and protect each other but why can't Donna trust Ryn to know what she's doing and whose worthy of her trust" (if you get what I'm trying to say it's kind of hard to explain)
it should already be beyond the sense of betrayal she has felt since Ryn took sides against her. No living being is purely rational and emotions can blind us to obvious truths.
Éfar Isti -that is true but I love how even if she feels some what betrayed by Ryn she still isn't giving up on her and is trying to get her to come home because deep down she doesn't want humans to hurt Ryn like they hurt her (which is a great sisterly bond in my opinion😍)

Funny, the way that Ryn and Donna are looking each other at the beginning when they have a fight about humans kind of remind me how the two cat of my mother, who are brothers ,are challenging between them.
The altercation with Decker reminded me of a scene from Babylon 5 where G'Kar had to chose between revenge or saving the lives of his people.
i also think that some where some how that when Donna see Chris she gonna feel something and not kill him because he helped her get free so with that in mind her last statement about killing all humans on land and in water is false. and that's just my thinking she will not kill Chris if she see him i believe this truly

i don't think so maddy is good for ben. i think Ryn respects what they all share trust means more to her than I could ever mean to us being that all of this human stuff is new to her she takes it on face value it means what it really means to her for us humans we take these things lightly I think she really Love's Ben and Maddie and not in a sexual manner that's what makes them more different than us sex and physical attraction f**** up relationships for human beings but for her kind trust and love is just what it is it's not going to be intertwine in anything sexual

well from what we saw last episode i was wrong about donna feeling a positive way towards Chris because it sure seems as if she was gonna do him dirty if he would have taken her hand during the fight on the ship. and we see the song is in Chris head as well. and the father getting killed was a total shocker i forgot all about him being on the boat as well. so now the hunt turns into revenge for our boy who lost his father. he is hurt and angry it first he was in aww of the mermaids and just wanted to prove they were real but now he feels they killed my dad he may want revenge may be on the side of the army deep down as time goes on. he lost his dad thats a blow out looks change
