Thank you!
My dad was a multiple amputee and he always complained about his missing apendages may he RIP . 💕your channel 🙏🏻
Yeah, Mike visits me again!! I am not surprised Mike cannot fake a smile, he's always really smiling.
What fascinates me are personality changes and even some memories associated with organ transplants. Makes me think that not all memories are stored in our brains.
I have to agree with the brain rewiring itself, because I was always useless at computers & maths at school. Until I crashed my car and ended up in a coma for about 6 months. When I woke up from the coma I understood computers & maths just like a natural without being taught. I now am a computer programmer, who works for an AI company.

An interesting fact about the human mind is that it's like a dry erase board, that's why you will often go into a room and forget why you went in there. Your current activities are transferred into long term memory from short term memory when entering a new environment. This makes it easier for you brain to take in new information.
The weather causing headaches thing happens to me. Usually accompanies a strange taste/sensation that’s difficult to explain. As a result, I hate storms
I've lived rurally for fifty years and I can tell you that the sound of trains is directly related to temperature. At 40 below, it's downright spooky.
"LONESOME OR HAUNTING WAS
THE SAME TO GRANDMOTHER.."
when the night was calm & the traffic noise diminished, if the temperature fell (as you said
@@warrior--poet5418 It scared the hell outta my new bride that had never been north. Brought her to Montana. RR half a mile away,40 below. Woke me up in the middle of the night, scared as hell. Took me a second to realize that I had heard it many times and relaxed and told her, it's just the train. Thank you... longest, best reply I've ever had.
The book "Blink" claims we have the ability to accurately judge who people really are at first glance over 90% of the time
I can smell rain is coming. Also can tell when my bad knee hurts🙂. Has a friend whose hair on his arms would rise before there was lightning. Kind of creepy, but he was always right. Good one Mike🙂👍✌️
And to think people don’t believe in God. Hearing all that wonderful information about the brain just makes me more in awe of Him. It’s difficult to comprehend what all the brain can do let alone how it does it. What a wonderful, amazing, generous God !! I’m trying to imagine why people think that a big bang created the earth and we evolved from…whatever people think we evolved from. I’m sticking with God. Much easier to accept!!
Thissssss!!!!
My poor brain hurts from wrapping my mind around these amazing facts!🙀😳😵
Years ago, my brother moved a car barehanded. He was working in a garage, his friend was lowering the lift, and the car slipped off. His friend was pinned against the wall, and my brother moved the car off of him. 😳
My migraines are linked to changes in barometric pressure. I’m more likely to get one when the pressure drops. I also get headaches when I run a temperature. The worse the headache, the higher my temp.
The pressure change usually triggers my migraines. Wonder if it’s an increase in the fluid around the brain like the fluid in the joints affecting cortical spreading depression.
Because of the damage on the left side of my brain caused by cerebral palsy (C.P.), language control has shifted to the right side of my brain instead of the usual left.
I love this channel you’re great!❤
Yes they are
Yay🎉list25❤❤❤
The knee pain before rain is definitely true. It works with snow also, at least in my case.
With me, it's me lower back, at the base of my spine. I know up to a full 24 hours before it rains, or snows. When I was 8 years ago, my grandmother said she was magic because, she always knew when it was going to rain, and she could take her teeth out of her mouth. I'm magic now too......lol.
I Lost my Momma on Dec 29, 2021, and she was my Best friend for 55 years. When I smell a certain powder she wore "I feel her" givng me a hug
Imagine if the human race met aliens who could see our bioluminescence. 🤔
A guy I worked with years ago was laughing and telling us that one of our male customers hit on him. I hung around my gay uncle enough to know all about gaydar back then. I made the comment "I thought they had gaydar"...turns out the man did in fact have gaydar. The coworker came out to me the next day and others about a week later.😂
I realized a few years back that my great grandma Rosie's house smelled just like yerba mate tea, and when I miss her, I pull out an old doll she made me I have sealed away, or I grab some yerba mate tea. It took me years to find the smell, and it takes me back every time.
Number 25....62 and arthritic, yep that's me.... 🌩️⛈️😁❤️
6:16 Bioluminescence
An example that we still have much to learn. While it's good to be skeptical of things yet unproven, an open mind can serve us. When people talk about "auras" perhaps they're in tune to signals of which few of us are aware. Others on this list support the possibility. ("gaydar" & ovulation, scent...)
Just as the weather can have significant effects on some people, there well may be (a mix of) factors that are presently identified as "auras" or that explain empathic abilities.
Hysterical strength is AKA an amygdala hijack.
That joints thing is so true. My dad can tell when it's going to rain a whole day in advance and how hard just from how his knees or back feels.
He can also accurately tell me what the temparute outside is. But that's mainly because of where he grew up
Loved this video
I’m a Nero surgeon., I had help by the military. I know about what happens in the brain and nervous system. That what the Hulk was based on . Dr. Banner was trying to see if he could harness the strength a women had who picked up a car to save her son. He overdid it a bit,
Adrenaline does not give you super strength. You are ALWAYS that strong. All it does is temporarily override your bodies safety limit. We are Literally strong enough to tear ourselves apart.
Cool video Mike 💯
Many perfumer makers use the memory of scents, to inspire their perfumes.
I wouldn't say the brain is the engine of the body, I'd say that's the heart, the brain is closer to being the body's operating system.
Good call. I believe that too. 😊
Oh my! Power of scent ! ❤
Btw re memories, as opposed to conventional wisdom of a photograph, every.single.time u recall a memory it changes in some way, tho neuroscientists have yet to identify reason(s)
This is a story about my dad and 'super strength' in an emergency..
I'm 62 and youngest if 7. I heard the story that my mom and dad and my older brothers and sisters lived on the farm and I also grew up there. There were 2 rooms upstairs and one downstairs. One time my dad raised chicks in the one room upstairs. One day the incubater didn't work right and it started a fire. My mom said my dad carried a big metal wash tub full of water on his back up the stairs to put the fire out. My dad was in his 40s and average height and weight. I don't know how my dad managed to carry that heavy tub of water on his back. The fire was put out but unfortunately the chicks didn't survive.
So if we can produce enough energy to power a light bulb, that explains the light bulb comic book and animation joke. 😁
My mom used to say “Uncle Arthur has come to pay a visit” when the arthritis flares up.
My favorite fact is that some people have a brain but it doesn't work 😂
9:22 Becoming your parents. Yes check out Kelly and Sharon Osbourne.. 👩🏻👨👩👧👦😊. .🕷️spider man issue one😮
Thank you for making me sound so smart! Lol
I once frustratedly said to a friend It's on the tip of my tongue, she told me to stick out my tongue and let her read it. At lease she got me to laugh and cured my frustration. Of course, by the time I remembered she had just left
If we have a similar sense of smell to mice, that probably why they like eating our food. They probably like what we like. 🤔
I was arrested and cuffed once, but I had enough adrenaline to break my guffs.
The olfactory part got me thinking of a line of Hogwarts house-based scents. I review perfumes for fun and am also a huge dork so that sounds like something I would do.
But you will know spring is coming because you are perfectly aware of when the seasons change, long before any pollen irritated your eyes. So no, your eyes don't predict that spring is coming
New study shows people can require less than 4 hours of sleep and have no adverse effects. But this is a rate genetic attribute.
Yea i can actually see trees budding leaves
I have an odd "talent" when it comes to smells! I can smell a dead rodent in a large, indoor space! It used to come in very handy, when I worked in a school that had a rodent problem. The school system has their own pest control staff, and they loved that I could tell them, which trap needed cleaning. God, I HATE that smell!
Listing to music from the time you were a teenager. Watch older TV shows from your child hood.
Why does the brain interpret stereo vision? Such as stereograms.
"Not Slytherin eh? Well if you're sure...better be...GRYFFINDOR!" 😛
Sorry I just had to 😉
Curious about deja vu? I am.
I have zero Gaydar. My gay friends have had to thump me over the head with their sexual orientation.
😅
@@aprilpotter3054 god bless my gay friends for their patience 😎
What does this mean ? That you don't wanted to be gay, but he made you gay? This is abnormal.
@@user-cu2fc1zy2b okay? Let’s break down what you just posted: What does this mean? I assume you are referring to the post in advance of your own post: why would you think I am a male poster?
@@user-cu2fc1zy2b secondly, in response to your post, why would you assume any one “made” me gay, or that I am, indeed gay? Not that there a anything wrong with that.

Taste and smell at Christmas tangerine 🍊 Taste good. The smell and taste are good
you didn't touch on the dreams rabbit hole
Psychic esp brain freeze
The pineal gland produces and receives DMT.
Mike :; smelling a woman clothes can be as difficult as being close to her and just breathing. Reaching for an item on a shelf. It can safe and not creepy…… chill out Creepie Mike
I like my own comment ❤😊❤😊
😊
Smelling clothes is actually a peculiar fetish.
After my Dad died, I kept his hoodie and a few shirts that held his scent... Not peculiar to me. Just comfort at a time of almost unbearable pain.
@@DHS9 Every time I smell Old Spice it reminds me of my late father. I kept my late mother's perfume.
11 hours is NOT the longest. Ask any tweaker, meth or crack head, will show a month if u but the dope.
I can smell FEAR. I have been in more fights on the streets then most men. I can actually smell fear emanating from someone and the smell is disgusting. I hate it and really makes me want to beat that fear out of my target. I can also identify my wife of 37 years blindly in a group of women, wedding games. i have a 100% success rate. Just by the smell of women in school i knew when it was time for the boy's and i to go fishing on a weekend instead of chasing the girls. I knew no action was going to take place. Might as well go fishing.
I can always tell when my wife is ovulating. Better than her and her period tracker
My husband could too, but I think it's just because he picked up on my mood shifts better than I did. He got sick of me way faster than I got sick of myself...and yes, even we get tired of our own crap during that time 😂
Ovulating women have higher pitched voices
Are we allowed to say “Gaydar”?
I am not Gay. So I can’t be the one to be offended.
50/W/M my names steve and i smell like leaves 😂😂😂😂😂😂
