Some day we might look at processed foods the same way as tobacco (Heaven knows what is actually being put in them). Obesity from just overeating and unhealthy living is a large problem too though.
Funnily enough if you’re obese swimming is actually one of the best activities for getting the crucial first few pounds off without completely destroying your joints.

If you just get out of the tube and swim along the current, in a small space under the surface, you can reach insane speeds by taking advantage of the stream the jets constantly maintain. It’s an artificial version of the way sea creatures like turtles travel. It also feels really nice on the skin.

Not gonna lie, I love me a good lazy river. Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, Texas has this great one that 1. Isn't a plain circle, 2. Has at least one branching path, 3. Mazes it's way through the whole park, even going through one of the buildings and 4. Dumps you into a real river if you take one of the branching paths. Yesss. But even the normal ones are alright. Just that nice and calming feeling of being gently rocked to sleep.
Haven't been to the Schlitterbahn down in SPI in a long ass while. Though back when I was forty to fifty pounds lighter and 16 years younger, I preferred the Boogie Bahn.
