    This is the change in the right direction for him because all things considered his skills are all still pretty solid, he's just being held back by how janky he could feels at time (mostly on his casting animations).
    One change for him that i've been hoping for so long to be added is Zhask being able to chooses when to hide in his ult spawn (in the similar way like the dash on Odette's ult). Since he always teleport to his ult instantly, his spawn often targets too randomly so by making it needs a separate cast, he can AT LEAST lock in on 1 target before hiding in his spawn

      Not instantly, I've played a lot of zhask games where he dies while his ult goes on cooldown. Would be nice if they fixed it.

      I think they should buff him further like this (I mean including all these):
      -Zhask won't take any damage while inside the spawn and is immune for 0.5 seconds when spawn dies while inside (A fully stacked Aldous killing his ult while he is inside instantly reflects the damage and dies instantly)
      -Ult grants a 1 second purify and super fast casting time (instantly dies from a Natalia combo without being able to react)
      -Spawn now triggers basic attack effects without requiring Zhask to attack and also benefits Zhask 2 way (the main problem with his spawn is it doesn't trigger attack effects when Zhask doesn't attack and to make Zhask effective without relying to ult)
      -Zhask benefits from hybrid lifesteal dealt by spawn (give Zhask at least some ability to be a good mid laner given already he is super squishy, has no efficient cc, no nukes, no mobility)
      -Skill 1 and ult have 2 seconds cooldown after using it while ult is active increasing his fighting distance (increase his chance to kill fast enemies and easily tear down backliners in teamfights by allowing him to reposition himself and his spawn more especially distance)

      @@doubled6995 I fully agree with all these changes. As i mentioned, all Zhask needs to become relevant are these kinds of QoL changes. I mean, the same things have already happened with Gord and Ixia recently where both become quite popular after they get their QoL changes

      I don't think the buff you mentioned is what Zhask need. The ability to choose when to hide means Zhask will be vulnerable for a moment. It cant hide immediately if the enemy gank him

    I used zhask after and I think this is the problem
    1. The delay Casting of his ultimate
    Is so slow that he will die easily when encountering fanny or any other heroes with burst skill and that delay is so annoying that when you're planning to bush camp he will just spin and the target is already escaped using flicker or any other long blink skill
    2. There is a bug in zhask where he will lose his ultimate after casting it
    3. Sometimes when you need his ultimate to survive he can't use it after 1 second delay after getting far away in the spawn and you will just die
    I wish the developers see this and fix the issues

      Nah I agree about this, because the delay is very disturbing, even if it's only a few seconds and it's very valuable when the war is going on

    Hes still so buggy (no pun intended). Ult cant pass through walls sometimes and the ult doesn't activate even when small spawn is dead. 😢😢😢Life is hard as a Zhask main.

    As a Zhask main for 5 years, Zhask needs a revamp. Not in a big way but he has many major issues that need to be fixed.
    1. His ult HP is too weak: late game is where he is supposed to shine but still struggles because mms and junglers easily kill his ult because of how weak his ult health is and his animations are so slow.
    2. Zhask has really bad chase. Zhask biggest issues is his chasing game because of his spawn and range he has. Plus his attack speed of his spawn is slower this his basic.
    3. Long CD. All of his skills have an unnecessary long CD for no reason. Making him so useless if his spawn dies or accidentally miss placed.
    4. Longest animation than any character. Zhask animation for his ult is so slow that I die before I get into my ult and my ult gets in the CD because I pressed it to save my self but died before getting in it. Even his casting skills are so slow that it’s easy to miss and still with him and plus his CD once you miss once you’re useless for the next 15 seconds.
    With that all being said, I do believe he is one of the worst characters in the game especially for new players who want to try him. He is very unwelcoming and very punishable. Though as a zhask main I know he can still shine in games and still can carry if played right. Regardless he is still my main and won’t switch anytime soon but hopping for a fix for him soon.

      i feel you, use zhask from time to time, and if i meet him as an enemy its so funny and sad at the same time seeing zhask players when they use their ult, and their spawn just stand there because of its terrible range

      I dont think cd is the problem, at least for the spawn. His biggest problem I saw is how he literally benefit nothing from spawn attacking enemy, Unlike sun who can sustain just by sending out his clone. I think they should make zhask ult spawn nightmare and also release explosion that stun the enemy within for 0.5s. Also just outright remove the spawn animation of the nightmare that spawn. Oh before I forgot, make the spawn hp drain relative to the respawn time. let say it took 75 second to respawn, make the spawn lose 1/75 second of it hp every second so at least it will work. To balance it out. just make the nightmare a normal one, not enhanced one

      @@angelo0698 your right about a revamp resulting to a nerf but he is not good the way he is. Especially when you reach higher ranks. What I want is a fix because he is too weak. And a fix is different because it still takes skill to play rather than a mindless character that takes no skill and we both know we don’t want that. Though Zhask has major issues that a fix can help without requiring a nerf

      @@unknownman5090 I think zhask just needs a bigger AOE for his nightmare spawn skills so it’s harder to miss since he does carry a stun with it and his 3rd skill is meant to slow down enemies from running away but both his spawn and nightmare spawn atk speed is so slow that it barely benefits him. Even going atk speed build is risky because you will potentially loose more damage with him. I do agree with you about a stun explosion for his nightmare spawn but I don’t think any of his spawns should drain HP considering that his spawn getting killed gives the enemy team exp and gold from it. Another issue that he struggles is that in early game if his opponent kills his spawn with every minion wave that that player will be level 4 before zhask will because of his spawn giving them exp and gold

    Zhask was once a nightmare mage but after recent nerf specially the nerf with his ult can't be full HP he wasn't a nightmare anymore ,I stop using zhask for a while but after this update buff on his ult I still prefer the old zhask where his ult can restore full HP than sustainability

    They should revamp his passive, it's kinda useless. If they wanna make him an Attack Speed Mage, they should revamp his passive, much like revamp Minsitthar's passive. I dare say that the core of every Basic Attacker is passive. Zhask's passive cannot help him kill enemies with Basic Attacks.

      Technically, core of every hero is passive. Even Tigreal. Stack 4 time and you can turret dive if you want to.

      Actually it is usefull, but in the wrong way
      The passive mostly guaranteed you to have a kill which is good but requirement is dying.. which is bad

    As what i see, zhask is the most unpolished hero in the roster while having the most possible adjustment/skill changes he can recieve , id like to list both problems and random thoughts.
    Issues
    passive
    Zhask often dies either by off guard attacks or snipe, both of which causes the deathspawn to either be overwhelmed or has nothing to do, especially since zhask himself will try to stay away from the enemy as much as possible to survive, only f00ls should die from his passive.
    1st skill
    For a stationary summon that basically comprises half of the hero, it is too slow in all aspects which could be utterly useless against smart enemies.
    - deathray often doesn't stop even if the target is dead, heavily making its attacks unreliable
    - it gives the opponent resources upon death, with this ability's long cd and basically the other half of zhask, zhask either surrenders the resource or risk himself.
    - There is also no option to remove the spawn other than going away which trigger the 2 seconds unavailablity both to this skill and his ult, making zhask unable to leave his spawn to not risk his ult being unavailable
    2nd skill
    The main issue with the 2nd skill is if it misses, along with a hefty CD, now the aoe is very slim compared to its cast time and cd, not to mention more than half of its strength is from the spawn's own skill cast which is controlled by computer.
    - spawn's mind eater is highly inaccurate
    - without the spawn and its own mind eater, this is weak but only dmg ability of zhask
    3rd skill
    Another slow skill, the slow is useful if it wouldn't also slow you down by casting it, with a rather short lifespan you really got to know when to use it, this skill doesn't even provide any good use beside slow, making this skill have a very thin window to be effective.
    The ult
    The worst issue with the ult is being unavailable, wether it be you getting too far of your spawn and making the ult unavailable for a few seconds for some reason, or the ult itself not being cast either by you dying or being stunned. if you do get the ult and use all of its skills, you just wasted around half of your mana for skills that can be dodged or outrun by the opponent.
    Overall zhask has the potential of being a good hero but has a lot of things that weighs it down, most of the time when i play him the best playstyle is be defensive and let your enemies come to you or your teammates instead, those are the moments that is a win win for zhask, should the enemy still fight and run towards him then he can make use of his power, if they did run away instead then he successfully defended himself, his team, or an objective.
    Possible Reworks
    Passive - along with the deathspawn, a passive like bane's passive to cause zhask to do a deathray like his spawn, each skill casts extends his next basic attack's duration and hits.
    1st skill - simply fix its issues.
    - spawn to be untargetable until it fully digs its way out the ground.
    2nd skill
    - spawn's mind eater aiming moves along with the target while charging the attack, so it basically cannot miss unless the target is out if range or used an invincibility skill.
    - how about a cooldown refund under some sort of condition.
    3rd skill
    - spawn to also shoot one hive clone
    - zhask continues moving to the chosen direction of the joystick while casting the ability, zhask however cannot change direction while casting this skill.
    - the clones are shot 5 per row instead of 3 on 2 rows, the 6th clone is again shot by the spawn. This way zhask can block paths more easily.
    Ult
    - can be casts while under CC, duh its his spawn that needs to act not him.
    - does not become unavailable due to 1st skill
    - incase he dies before ult appears, passive frenzied deathspawn is replaced by the ult spawn.
    - incase he dies outside of his ult while its alive, both ult spawn and deathspawn can exist at the same time
    This new zhask main issue would still be being outpowered, or be a sitting duck at wrong placement, but atleast he can fight more effectively or reliably.
    Btw i found an exploit on zhask, if. You casts mind eater and spawn casts it, then quickly relocate the spawn and it will cast its mind eater again and even causing stun again despite zhask only using his mind eater once.

      thats not an exploit, they said it in a previous patch that zhask spawn now cast at the same time as zhask , this means if zhask cast s2 the first mind eater will combo to deal a stun , by s1ing while the ray hits , it is determined as a new spawn while zhask is casting the s2 which gives triple lasers

    Hehe a Zhask video! I love this guy but he needs a bug fix and buff- I know others have said it, but remove the down time on his ult after the summon despawns from range, its just... bad. And don't make the ult channeled, or at least if the channeling is interrupted give it a reduced cd. Change his passive, give him mobility or survival instead of "on death", and/or reduce the relocate cooldown on his ult OR make it relocate faster, and finally just fix these bugs:
    Summarised: Zhask's spawn counts as both a creep and hero unit at the same time and the wall hitboxes suck. (I noticed that the damage problems seem to affect all summoned units, but neither sun nor vex seem as badly affected as Zhask, but please correct me if I'm wrong), and in some situations his ult basically just immediately runs out. FIX ZHASK.
    Can we get a zhask bug fix? His spawn takes full damage from both retribution and dhs (which makes helcurt one shot my ult or me and my passive, and it takes two instances of damage from cursed helmet, one normal and one 350%),
    he can't ult in minsi's anti-dash field under any circumstance, even when its an on the spot morph,
    the wall's hitboxes are just broken(I often clearly teleport over a wall and stay on the same side),
    if you activate his ultimate but subsequently die before morphing, the ultimate goes on cooldown despite the fact that it hasn't really been cast (I think most of us would love i-frames during the morphing phase- between triggering and being in it),
    when you leave the ult before it ends, and reposition it when its at its despawn range, the animation plays but no ult spawns. Furthermore, casting ult again after this causes its duration to drop to essentially zero and immediately end upon casting, WHICH SURELY COUNTS AS GAME BREAKING, so in conclusion: please help bring awareness about zhask's bugs because the help service doesn't work unless we all spam it I'd presume or someone makes a video. Please make a video.

    As a zhask main, Zhask needs alot of changes to his kit. Because his skills don't work well with each other.
    His Second skill must change like Yin's ulti first skill where he follows the enemy.
    His spawn got this 'out of range' despawning delay. It's a very lazy fix to Zhask's late bug which he can spawn lots of spawns. This must change so casting Ultimates spawns will have less delay.
    Lots of changes that i could put here but it would be biased because im just a person.
    Any inputs from anyone would be best.

    I remember playing zhask before his "revamp" and it's good using a full atk spd build, was very bummed out when inspire didn't work the same after. I mainly use Zhask to push because some MMs are too focused on teamfights, especially in random matches.

    Zhask is the only mage (as I remember) who relies on attack speed and can utilize inspire. So why don't devs add "marksman" as his subrole and make his nighmaric spawn benefited from physical attack because there are so many attack speed items in physical item section. FoH and Windtalker are the only att. speed items that zhask can use now. Make his spawn benefited from physical attack so he can build DHS, SH, or he can build CS for extra slow because his spawn can't utilize the slow from IQW anymore (death ray is considered as basic attack now).

    With golden staff, new weakness finder and feather of heavens..
    I shall rule with zhask.
    Edit: i found some problems, slow animation and his passive is really bad.
    I mean it was bad before his revamp and it's still bad, why do devs want his passive to be something to do with when he dies.
    Before he would explode on his death, now he will spawn a baby bug that dies after 10 secs on it's own.
    I don't know why they want him death.
    Rafaela has same problem too, it's always related to her death.

    Ngl it's not much of a problem, for me at least. I just cast inspire while ult animation is happening so I have inspire while inside the spawn. Yes it does require immense skill to pull off and risk is high but getting the savage while in the middle of a clash is soooo satisfying. Just HP of even tanks gets melted

    They said his pet is considered as a basic attack then why items like goldens staff and corrosion don't affect on him?Also the weakness finder doesn't function to his pet, only on zhask basic attack.

    Now, I need them to remove the recast cooldown when a spawn dies/ult finishes. 😈

    As much as I love using Zhask, yes his damage output is fine, it's just that he is so slow and squishy.
    1. His main damage output is his spawns but it gets easily destroyed by the likes of other marksmen and mages. You are literally also giving free gold and exp with his spawns which is his main problem(Sun also has this problem).
    2. His ult takes like a whole dang second to activate and when you do but end up dying in the process, it would go in cooldown. It's unlike Yin who gets a like 4 second cooldown when the ult gets interrupted.
    3. His skills need precise timing to hit enemies because they take longer to land.
    4. I don't know if you can use other spells in Zhask's ult since this only showcases him being able to use Inspire in his spawn, but you literally couldn't use a single spell in his spawn like Flicker.
    5. You can easily kite him because of his small range and slow mobility, but then again you can just simply kill him if his ult is on cooldown.
    6. His skills are painfully long, especially the ult and spawn. By the time you've used your skills, you are just a headless chicken doing God knows what waiting for your skills to finish and die to the likes of Fanny appearing from thin air.
    7. His passive is just the better version of Rafaela's that can still guarantee a kill. At least it got changed from doing explosive damage with the spawn upon death, which was WAY worse imo.
    8. He relies on attack speed, the only problem being that he needs his spawns to do the damage for him and his passive just doesn't fit, and i've already mentioned some of the downsides of his spawns.
    Overall, Zhask needs a change. Lore wise Zhask is extremely strong, why can't he also be strong in game?

    There are a LOT of simple fixes that can make some heroes a lot better.
    Like how Gord and Saber (1st skill) can cast their skills without stopping, but it took them YEARS for those fixes for some reasons.
    Moonton really needs to play their own game.

    I often use AEGIS for more durability since most of spells are blocked inside his spawn. Better ganna back with inspire. 😊

      Windtalker better. GS has higher damage but the movement speed is very good for him since he's so slow.

      ​@@hedhuntervizo6749 there was a bug where you can get a massive attack speed from GS. Too bad the devs have fixed that.

      @@hedhuntervizo6749 That's not entirely true. Windtalker attacks faster, but compared to the Goldenstaff you generally have less damage than with Goldenstaff. You will see in every 1:1 comparison that the time to kill with the Goldenstaff is significantly lower than with Windtalker.

    I think they should make Zhask basic attack similar like Natan basic attack. So, that if he build physical or magic it would scale from both.
    Zhask is a marksman/mage so it would make a lot of sense than just having a simple passive. Also, to make him less dependant on his skills.

    zhask and his spawn should inherit phisick damage and convert into magic just like kimmy and the spawn should triger basic atk effect to benefit from items like corrosion scythe,demon hunter sword or even the feather of heaven that doesnt give you atk speed,and would trigger the weakness finder ability and last that the spawn cant be used retribution on him or atleast that the retribution do less damage to summon units and the spell inspire that give you armor penetration give adaptive penetration to be suitable for magic and phisick damage

    I think it's because of Upcoming Zhask Starlight Skin in 2024?
    I hope they also make Zhask 3rd skill like a wards
    When an enemy Hero step on it while it is cast inside the bush they will reveal in the Map OR Reduce it's Cooldown instead
    Also they should reduce Zhask Skills mana Consumption

    I think they should buff him further like this (I mean including all these):
    -Zhask won't take any damage while inside the spawn and is immune for 0.5 seconds when spawn dies while inside (A fully stacked Aldous killing Zhask in ult instantly reflects the damage and dies instantly)
    -Ult grants a 1 second purify and super fast caster time (instantly dies from a Natalia combo without being able to react)
    -Spawn now triggers basic attack effects without requiring Zhask to attack and also benefits Zhask 2 way (the main problem with his spawn is it doesn't trigger attack effects when Zhask doesn't attack and to make Zhask effective without relying to ult)
    -Zhask benefits from hybrid lifesteal dealt by spawn (give Zhask at least some ability to be a good mid laner given already he is super squishy, has no efficient cc, no nukes, no mobility
    -Skill 1 and ult have 2 seconds cooldown after using it while ult is active increasing his fighting distance (increase his chance to kill fast enemies and easily tear down backliners in teamfights by allowing him to reposition himself and his spawn more especially distance)

    it only sucks that inspire is biased to physical penetration only. Would have been great to make it more neutral by becoming hybrid or adaptive

    This still wont be enough to bring zhask to the meta tho bringing back the part where he fully restores the spawn hp and can reposition 1 time in ult and once again when he gets out would be insane of a buff also the delay on his skills are just disgusting

    They should revamp his passive.....it should be that for every 10 magic power he gains 1.5% atk spd.... that way we can focus on building him as a mage reather than a dps mm hero.....and also remove the delay on his ult
