You def ain’t too big for your horse.
Someone told me I was too big for my pony, Dixie. She weighs 900 pounds, 14.2 hhs tall. I am 5ft tall, and 105 pounds. I’ve literally starved myself out of fear of being too much for her. Don’t you worry about that, that’s not even a problem like you said in the vid!

She is a bit too tall but she can still ride her. I ride a horse that’s 14.3 hands and I’m 5,4 but it’s about the weight mostly and not height

Are there any big risks with riding a horse to short/ a little small for you? Like damaging to the horse? Or to the rider?

There are to the horse, not really to the rider. In can be harsh and puts a lot of stress on their joints if you're too big for the horse. You should stick to the 20% rule with horses, you should be at most within the range of 20% of their body weight including all the tack. Though from the looks of it this rider is perfectly fine for the horse shown in the video!

It’s mostly about the weight not height but iff you are too tall for a horse, it can cause damage In the horse like bending the back or maybe even breaking the horses back. Hope this answers your question!
