Oh my goodness.....the idea of losing your babies is heartbreaking. I had a pit-pressa canario who was born with a spinal issue that the vet said should've kept him from walking....I got him when he was about 5......we kept him for about 4 years before we had to have him put down and he ran and jumped and loved life right up to the end. The biggest issue was he had fecal incontinence...he didn't even know when he was pooping the last year or so. I swore I'd never get another dog because he was the love of my life and I am horribly allergic too. And then we got a street dog in Nicaragua last spring ❤️
You sound like you have a heart as soft as mine!!! I'm glad you were able to find enough peace in your heart to adopt another dog. They are so loving and wonderful, even when they are sick and a mess!
