I never enjoyed any book in the bible more than this. I think this is my favorite bible book.
Mine too. It speaks exactly as to how I used to feel.

@@liepa7768 I appreciate you asking instead of being rude like most people are. I can explain my personal thoughts.
1. From a story telling perspective this is wonderful. I mean come on it's the 1st person view of what Solomon saw life as! (And he's supposed to be the wisest human in history) A lot of it was nihilistic and heart breaking until he realized how meaningful it is if you include God in your life. In my own experience I can say this is true.
2. It drops very important information subtly. One example is how 6:52 (Ecclesiastes 3: 11) explains that God himself puts questions into our minds. I genuinely find that fascinating because it implies the fact that a lot of our own thoughts are him personally interacting with us. Now while it says he puts doubt into peoples minds it also doesn't say they stay that way, in fact the bible tells you clearly to preach the gospel and even HOW to preach the gospel. He can also remove doubt if he so pleases and like how Abraham 'changed' God's mind I believe praying can achieve similar results.
3. A majority of it is from a human stand point, as opposed to every other book of the bible they are in the view of divinity. Which means Ecclesiastes could potentially be the easiest book of the bible to study and digest information from.
4. This book is more of commentary and self awareness. (A character study if you will) At the start it mentions that Solomon had to be foolish at first to be wise. Now i'm not calling you a fool but that I think that we all are. And as I mentioned a lot of the book of Ecclesiastes is from a human perspective, simply put it has questions against/for God and then expresses meaninglessness or calls God unfair even if those questions were answered. Does that sound familiar? I know that's how I used to be.
I could go on and on but i'm not sure you'd enjoy reading so many messages. And frankly I also don't know which passages contradicts the bible. Can you tell me them?

I was born with ADHD AN ALWAYS GET UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN READING BECAUSE NOTHING SÈEMS TO STAT IN MY MIND. BUT READING THE WORD OF GOD IS DIFFERENT I RATHER HEAR IT THAN READ IT, I LEARN FASTER LISTENING TO IT. I'M GLAD I FOUND THIS APP. ADHD is simply how healthy your gut is. Eat proper foods and slowly your body will repair itself. Detoxify properly. Do some research. Use to have it until I began loving myself properly meaning only healthy things go in my body my Adhd is gone. Thank God for giving me the cure for it without God I would still be struggling

@@comradejohn4564 Green tea, Pomegranate,blueberries,Fish High in Omegas 3s, Vit D+K2+Magnesium. Higher protein (Red Meat) Eggs daily. Clean your diet if you eat junk food start by reducing it little by little. Timing your meal 8 hours apart and no snacking

This BOOK OF ECCLESIASTES is estimated to between 2000 and 3000 years old . It is as Relevant today as when it was written. We live today in troublesome challenging times, BUT not more so than past generations. This BOOK is a VERY SOBERING LOOK at the BIGGER PICTURE OF LIFE and it's meaning.

The Lord had a plan since the beginning. He gave this wisdom to Solomon and Solomon only so he could write it down. Do you think he knew that thousands of years later his words would still ring true, that his obedience to God would have such a lasting influence? It’s incredible when you think about it. Solomon probably will never know until he awakens again at the second coming and sees what God has done in His glory. Awesome.

This is one of my favourite book across the whole Bible. Loads of wisdom for living in a chaotic world as now.
This scripture is thousands of years MORE TRUE than it was when it was written.
And yet , it isn't for everyone generation says this. It is nothing new.

This world is so distracting. I can honestly say i struggle to get into the word. Even with this video. I paused and went to look at trivial things. This life truly is vanity!!!!

I'm trying to finish the Bible, this is getting me closer to finishing the whole thing, Blessed Be.
This is 100% in a nutshell. I've known this in my subconscious mind for most of my 66 years on this earth. So much more in detail to this like going down the rabbit hole. I wish I could truly express my knowledge on this fictitious world.
I had a very strange experience recently, I am not a religious person at all but during a very low time with depression that i have had since i was a child, i reached out and asked for help and an answer to a question, I heard a song which caught my ear, then after searching for the song using the lyrics i was lead to Ecclesiastes 3, after reading this verse it made so much sense to me and made me feel better, the song was The Byrds - Turn! turn! turn!
This is such a great book. Thank you! It reminded me of a movie I watched called “The Shack” it was recommended to me and I highly recommend it to everyone.
