Angle Grinder HACK - How To Make A Simple Wood Chipper Using Angle Grinder | DIY
Hello Everyone!
Today I show you how to make a simple wood chipper using angle grinder machine. I used two planer blades to make this wood chipper mechanism. These planer blades are fixed to the rotating disc which is used to cut the wood. This diy wood chipper mechanism is rotated by the angle grinder machine through the chain drive. I step down the angle grinder machine speed by using the sprockets and chain to multiply the torque for this diy wood chipper machine. This homemade wood chipper is very simple to make. This diy wood chipper is very powerful. This homemade wood chipper cuts the wood very fastly. This angle grinder hack works good. I hope you guys will enjoy this making of wood chipper build.

Nice work! I know it’s really more like an experiment but one could easily modify your design with a heavier disc, bigger motor, safety guards, wheels, etc, and have a very practical machine at a fraction of the cost of buying a one.

It could have been self feeding if the knives were mounted at an angle off from the base rotor. That is one of the tricks the commercial units have.

I don't think this is going to give much usefull because after investing so many good components the result came out only for making a single work, I would rather bought a new cutter machine which may be more cheaper and more efficient than this handmade machine. Anyways thanks for your videos.

What investment are you referring to? The angle grinder is detachable from the machine which can be utilized elsewhere.
I say this is a great ideas because those wood chips are very useful in many ways, well atleast where I live m
