- Dummy Flight Tickets - There are many online websites such as dummytickets.com that reserve a flight for you and share the booking with flight number, PNR number, etc. that you can submit with the application.
- Refundable Flight Tickets - Book refundable flight tickets so that even if your visa gets rejected, you don't lose out on money.
🏨 How to Show Proof of Accommodation
The best way to show confirmed hotel tickets without paying anything is by reserving your hotels and hostels on booking.com. Most of these places offer free cancellation so you don't have to pay any cancellation fee as well.
✈️ How to Show Proof of Flights and Trains within the Schengen Region
In a few cases, they might ask you to show how you will be traveling within the countries as well. For that, you can buy a Eurail Pass as it is valid for 1 year from purchase and can be activated anytime that you would like. Moreover, it is one of the cheapest and most convenient ways to explore the entire Europe.

- 3-month salary slip
- 3-month salary bank account statement (attested by the bank)

Always select a multiple entry visa for a Schengen visa as the cost remains the same for a single and multiple entry visa.
➡️ Process for Visa Application through Switzerland Embassy
1. Book an appointment for your Visa Application.
2. Gather all the documents and photos
3. Arrive 15 minutes before the appointment time and take the token for your Visa application.
4. Go to the Country's Submission desk and wait for your token number to be called.
5. Submit your documents which will be verified by the official there. If there is anything missing, get the document and come back to submit it at the same counter.
6. Once all documents are in order, you will be given a receipt to make the payment of the Visa Fees.
7. Go to the Payment counter and pay the fees (preferably in cash) and get the confirmation receipt for payment.
8. Hand over this confirmation receipt at the submission counter where they will give you a file with your documents and a number for the biometrics queue.
9. Once your number is called, give your biometrics information such as facial information and fingerprints.
10. Once it's complete, you are free to exit the VFS center. An acknowledgment slip will be provided to you to track your visa application process.
➡️ Passport Collection Process
1. Check your application status on the VFS website if you haven't opted for SMS updates.
2. Once you see that your passport is ready to collect, visit the VFS center's Passport Collection counter and take your passport.
3. If you opted for courier service, your passport will be dispatched via Bluedart and you will receive it within 2-3 days.
4. Check the visa details like your name, passport number, visa validity, and duration.

I have my flight to Austria from Mumbai with layover at Turkey for 1 hour.Is this much time ok for layover or will I need to checkin and do the whole process again?
Does you flight ticket have 1 PNR or different PNRs? If it's the same PNR, then your bag will be directly sent to Austria from Mumbai and you will just need to clear security check. But if it's not, then it's not sufficient time to do all the formalities.

bank statement online approve or need through Bank?
Generally they ask for physical statement which is attested so you ll need to get it from the bank. In some cases, the online one also works but doesn’t work for every country.
i applied for france on 20th Sep. But i’m hearing that right now embassies are taking really long time to process the visa. Have any idea into this ?
i’ve given my travel dates from 5th oct to 15th oct. and all my bookings are done accordingly. What if they take a month to process my file. My travel dates will be gone by then. Will this affect my visa approval decision or they’ll give me visa for further dates !
Yeah, you need to have minimum 15 working days for visa approval. They won't care if your dates are close or not 😅 since you applied on 20th, you can only hope for the best but it's true, there are too many applications currently. But any case, you should always keep minimum 15 working days for Schengen visa approval, that's their default maximum time kyuki 😅

hey, i jus recieved my visa, my name on the passport is mohan kumar bharath gowda but on the visa stamp its typed mohan kumar bharath gow (d and a letters are missing, is it due to my name being long or is this a problem)
It would be because of the length of your name but do check it once by calling at VFS center.
one country to another country internal ticket need ?
Not necessarily, you can mention in the cover letter that you will take a bus if the countries are nearby. Otherwise if you are going to take flights, then you can show dummy tickets for those as well

I applied from Dubai vfs for Norway schengen visa on July 21st I got Visa on 1st September I am travelling to Norway on 20th September I am coming back on 2nd oct my passport validaty is January 14th 2023 means I will have passport expiry left 3 month and 10 days.my question is will they allow me to enter Norway?
That's a tricky one. Have you checked with VFS on this? Generally they require you to have 6 month passport validity so there might be problem at immigration
@@meanderwander I checked with the Entry requirements to Norway it shows up I should have three months minimum beyond the date of exit so I will have still 3 months and 12 days from the date of exit.its showing every where minimum 3 months.lets see more over I don't have enough time to renew it lol

Yes I did. They asked me why I was traveling to Switzerland. What made me choose the country and what I do etc. Also asked me to send some additional files like bank statement for past 2 years and stuff since my application was a little weak. The entire call took around 30 minutes.

Need to ask a question, if someone apply visa through a small European country but wish to travel other countries.
Example i apply visa via croatia as sometimes big nations checking or waiting period is way too much,so i apply croatia visa but i need to go to france or Switzerland .
I get visa, do i need to visit croatia first and then go to orher countries or i can go to swis or france directly from india... as i dont want to visit croatia...i applied for visa purpose only . Please let me know
Firstly, Croatia is not a Schengen country so please don't apply visa for it and expect to travel to France Italy and all.
Secondly, yes you can do that but you will need to show them your itinerary and bookings in such a way that they don't become suspicious of you. Put your entry point as the actual country you wish to visit because once you get the visa, you can enter the Schengen area through the entry point that you mentioned in the form only.
Example: You apply for a Schengen Visa through Poland.
Mention Poland in your itinerary and that you will stay most days here and show hotel bookings and put entry point as the actual country you wish to visit like France. Show France also in the itinerary but for lesser days than Poland. If you do this, you ll get Schengen visa that mentions entry point as France so you can enter and then you can travel to everyplace except Poland.

I have applied for tourist visa for Portugal on August 29th. It's been 45 days i didn't get any update from embassy, I have tried all possible ways for update status but no update.Do you have any info on this. Im doing IT job from 7 years, travel insurance I have taken 1lakh euro, got permission from organization to travel, shown more than sufficient bank balance.
Ah. It might be because the applications are too many these days. 🙈 A lot of countries are unable to cope up with the volume which results in delay of the visa. Have you tried calling VFS and asking them an update regarding this?
@@meanderwander thanks for the reply. I have tried calling them each and every day. I have visited embassy in Delhi but without appointment they won't enter and there is no help desk nor the people over there provided information. Im dropping mail to embassy also every day but no reply from them

It should be fine as long as you show all the details like hotel, sufficient funds, NOC, and other documents. :)

Jo bhi aapke documents hain vo dikhaane hi padte hain. ITR ya GST filings compulsory hota hai agar aap shop ya sab ka dikha rahe ho as income source. Usmein toh kuch nahi kar sakte aap. CA se baat Karo ya fir travel agent se, kyuki vahi ab aapko kuch solution bata sakte hain iske liye.

If you have been working in UAE since 6 months, then you will have to apply from there only. You cannot apply from India.

Currently it's a popular time so appointments are difficult. You can apply through another Schengen country if your plans are fixed.

In case of any confusion kindly contact our customer care” . Don’t understand this stupidity. They expect applicants to be their country for 6 months before applying for Spain schegan visa. What about folks who’s re traveling to other countries for work or business?
@@misthi7deedee131 that means you should have proof of staying in a place for 6 months. So, your bank statement might be coming to one place or the address on your salary slips. You can travel during that time but you need to show proof of long-term residence in any place.
Thanks that make sense but it’s too late. Because of incompetence of people working at BLS. I could have easily gotten an appointment at BLS but they said your mother can’t apply because she was out of India in August. Your mother should be in India for atleast 6 months. It seems absurd and because of them I couldn’t apply.

You need original passport obviously and rest would be printouts. Bank statement needs to be attested.
