Kudus would effectively be a overlapping winger like how frimpong plays and emerson would drop back into a back 4 when off the ball
I think Slot going to Liverpool is a direct threat to our being able to keep Kudus. I would imagine Mo would be near the top of his shopping list.
Re: Diaz parents, I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure they were both kidnapped but his mother was released immediately. His father was kept for longer.
Edit. HEAR, HEAR George! Make Bowen the captain. Imo, he has been our captain since the final in Prague. You could hear it in his interviews.
After losing to Fulham 5-0 in December, we beat Wolves, Man U and Arsenal in the league. We need that kind of bounce back - although I think the circus around the manager's position will be a huge distraction.
Will be amazed if we get something from the game - we can only hope ⚒⚽

I’ve got to the point of the season where my mind set is what happens happens now. It’s been absolutely exhausting since the turn of the year and can only see us getting 4 points max and totally dreading City away 😂

After that Everton loss with 72% possession I don't see Liverpool giving up the fight, they're too fast & always have a plenty of shots on target ratio, they'll want to give Klopp a good send off & he'll pump 'em up with motivation by looking at our results & minus goal difference.
I see us having a half hearted fight for approx 30 mins with our boys wondering if Moyes is still staying or if they should ask their agent to get them off to another club.
Pains me to say it but I think it'll finish. 2-4.

We've been really lucky that the teams around us have been so inconsistent all season, we just havent capitalised. We wont be far away from 7th but will regret a lot of games we dropped points in.
Problem we have is there is no one who is a true leader when the games are going wrong and Bowen may be plenty committed in his own game but he isn’t an organiser/motivatir who’s gonna bollock other players I think we’re gonna have to bring in one of those characters, Alvarez is prob the nearest we have to that kind of character!
Our Aim for the rest of the season should be to finish above Man Utd. That'll be a nice fewell for Moyes and that'll probably qualify us for Europe
Agree 100% with this, I made the mistake of looking at fixtures and the table and decided us or Chelsea can finish above Man Utd

Agree but we play them plus they have Villa this week before another midweek game prior to playing us at The Bridge next weekend

Other than Jotta, (unfortunately to often injured) , the rest of the offensive players seem to need 10 chances to score a goal. Stunning.
Liverpool look like the season has caught up with them and they have an air of vulnerability about them. Everton and Palace took advantage of that very well.
Unfortunately we look like a pub team and Moyes will be terrified of Liverpool anyway so I can see a 0-2 loss sadly.

Liverpool will return to form with an easy win against us. Our defence has been awful and I don’t see that changing until the end of the season. Could be another embarrassing defeat.
I think they will absolutely thrash us. Got fulham and crystal palace result correct. Even said palace will thrash us. This i dont think will be any different. I think it will be minimum of 4 goals for Liverpool. They will go straight down the middle. Different manager than maybe i might get some hope but the longer moyes has this team on the training field the worse it will be. He will drum low block into them and the players will be pissed.
I'm seriously concerned that Paqueta's lawyers have not forced the FA to bring or drop charges and that's why he's petulant and off form, and we'll get stuck with him for next season too.
Hard to imagine even a few months ago that I'd be concerned at having Paqueta stay, but that's how it is.
I believe they’re waiting until the season to end before going to the FA but could be wrong

Sadly Moyes is exactly the manager you want to face if your team is in crisis.
Any other manager would see Liverpool is on its knees and go for it but Moyes will set us up as if we are facing Bill Shankly’s legendary invincibles.
I hate to say it but I see us handing Klopp a lifeline with a limp, negative performance that allows them 70% possession. 4-0 to Liverpool wouldn’t surprise me.

I think paqueta has been struggling because he hasn’t had Bowen to work with. What I mean by that is Bowen is the only player who runs in behind the defence. All of Paquetas great assists is from playing it over or through the defence. Kudus simply never does then runs but goes short for the ball. This leaves paqueta left to make small 5 yard passes or loose crosses.
1-1 we going to grind it out and Danny Ings comes off the bench and score against his former club

You don’t beat Liverpool unless they’re having an off-day and you need your best players on the pitch and in their best positions. Paqueta is the first name on the team sheet for me and plays central. Always. I’d like to see Alvarez CDM, Kudus and Paqueta CM, Earthy off the left, Bowen off the right, Antonio up to (although might need Soucek’s aerial ability for this one)

We have 4 absolutely huge opportunities and games coming up. We can absolutely qualify for Europe again and ultimately i think we do it...dont forget moyes also has 4 games to essentially show himself off for us and other clubs. Coyi!!!

I might not like ads, but I accept the reasons and would rather have the info decent and appraisals that I'm not knowledgeable enough to work out myself.
Our ideal would be to have enough patrons and brand deals so we don’t need ads on the videos but we are a long way off and a lot of people use ad blocker etc which doesn’t help.
