With the club welcoming Manchester City and Arsenal this month already, it's also been a chance for travelling supporters to experience Kenilworth Road - the league's smallest ground and one that harks back to football's old days.
But can Luton thrive in the top flight?

At least Luton have a bit of heart and soul about them! So much more than what can be said for other teams in the league. Would be nice to see them stay up for a season!
Luton is my new favorite in the Premiere League. I didn't know where the city was exactly because I don't live in the country, but I took it to my heart. What team spirit, bravery and willingness to fight! Larger teams can follow an example of Luton.
Town... Not city.... The clue is in the name... Luton town
@@nofurtherwest3474 Good luck on Friday against Burnley. 😊
@@Howie57 thank you, I didn't know that.
@@l.v thanks
Luton is a town to the north west of London
In actual fact Luton do not have the smallest ground in the Premiership. Since the “bobbers stand” was redeveloped to comply with the Premier League requirements additional seats were added making Bournemouth the smallest ground now.
how much are homes there?
@@nofurtherwest3474 About 50k lol
@@MadMurdock69 really? Wow that sounds cheap
@@nofurtherwest3474luton is a property hotspot. The houses are very expensive. Normal 3 bed is 350k. Then you have the posh areas where the houses are worth multimillions.
@@nofurtherwest3474Live there for a day and you’ll see why…
we have not the smallest ground get your facts right
hey can i ask - why are the homes not well kept near there? they need some powerwashing and landscaping.
The only grass you will see round thier is the stuff you smoke
Bournemouth’s is smaller actually.
What about Loserpool?
Who do u support?
@@alancosta47606 time Champion's League winners Liverpool, with the most trophies of any English football club in history? their stadium is a little bigger than Luton's.
Shame your club got us nanned from Europe J439
we arent run by the fans, we are run by a consortium of local business people who are fans. report is pretty dire from the start.
So technically Luton is run by fans?
😂 so you are run by fans
Great story, kudos to Luton
West Ham won’t sell kudos to Luton
We might be one of the smaller grounds, but we're the ground with the most heart!
I have been hearing about this new stadium since I was staying in Luton from 2005-2008. Hope it materialises this time around. From Malaysia 😊
All bull💩
I remember when they had plans to build a new stadium in Milton Keynes back in 1996
1:52 did anyone notice his name
Hope you stay up, Luton. Best of wishes!
Luton town FC have brought nothing but joy to me seeing a football club play with no fear at all. Arsenal fan .
the homes there are not well kept though, why is that
I hope Luton stays up! Lovely club ❤️
When i was a kid luton and sheff utd were always 2nd division i remember having a footy mag with stickers i must have been 9 years old I'd just started supporting rotherham utd happy days ..well done luton town
Greatest Underdog Story To Premier League Promotion! Most Decidated Fanbase Ever Alongside Liverpool & Nottingham Forest ❤
Imagine living right next door to a football pitch
Correction. Second smallest ground, but perhaps the most loved.
Smallest ground but biggest heart
Hopefully they can stay up, they are a joy to watch
Great little video, this is what the game is all about!
Yh cool to see the reach of the smaller clubs
Football is the essence of British culture and is difficult for foreigners to understand.
Block in 3.30 have a point. I always wished that this rich league would happen... It would make more room for normal clubs in many countries
I laughed at Champion of Europe Team bus
Luton relegated .man city from.top flight in.83 and they are still crying stupid mancs RIP raddy
Luton is a lovely football club.
I hope Luton survive, I dont know how they will when their budget is so low, but enjoy it while it lasts!
What do you mean? Foootbsll in lower leagues is far better day out ...give me qpr or orient away all day long premier league is well overhyped and bent
Good to see you looking so well Alison, great club run by good people, come on you hatters.
I can't imagine having my house next to a stadium. Oh, wait! I can! I live that nonsense seasonally, so I feel that man's pain.
Bournemouth itself is a miracle club suffering a worse fate than Luton (potential extinction as a club) but in a short 6 years they went from bottom of League 2 to champions of the Championship and won promotion in the premier league (and the first flight) for the first time in their History.
Bournemouth is the definition of small clubs growing big based on success and did without a lot of money (thanks to Eddie Howe)
Bournemouth is the smallest
Is bournemouth next door to a house as a joint terraced house on a street?
Why dint we hear the luton support, on why the game is broken? Would have like to hear his thoughts.
Nice short, in spite of the glaring factual inaccuracy
1:49 good to see Harry Enfield still going strong
Lol. It’s uncanny. The best doppelgänger I’ve seen in ages! 👍🤣
You beat me to it! 😄
Why on earth would you live there? I lived near a pub and that was bad enough.
Some people are born here like me and you have to get used to it
Cant afford London basically and you get used to it. You still get the perks of London though and can pop in once a month. I imagine people in places like Milton Keynes and Reading are in the same boat.
Luton's Bury Park is heaven to me mate. Marsh Farm is the opposite. Dangerous place.
@@fraserhuntly7296 yeh if you love Muslim extremism it’s a great place to be
@@fraserhuntly7296 why are the house fronts so dirty around there? is that normal? just powerwash and paint, and put some plants.
Isn't Bournemouth the smallest?
Tell me does the local council still own the stadium
They remind me of Germany's FC Union Berlin
Best stadium in north London
Thats etihad
EasyJet FC
Bournemouth is smaller.
If they build a new stadium, this culture will die. The pub culture. The old time feeling. They have a proper ground. Not a sterile one.
If they build a new stadium they might end up like coventry, wimbledon, derby etc.
Not even the smallest ground though. Bournemouth is
It’s not the smallest ground it’s Bournemouth
Bournemouth's ground holds just under 1,000 more than Kenilworth
Soccer, innit. 😅
It’s not the smallest !
I love watching your unique video content and exploring some of the photographers you have mentioned as well as the open discussions about technique and style. Best wishes for the new year!
What a stadium, very cosy. Shame Man City owners pretty much bribe all the football governing bodies so they will never get charged.
It’s not the smallest ground Bournemouth is.
I do fill sorry for Luton cuz there playing good football just can't get a win
Bournemouth have the smallest ground, lazy journalism
The first premiership ground located in pakistan. Quite remarkable
Football is not broken. Football has evolved and it is a big business now. Since the inception, professional football has been an entertainment business. It just grew and now clubs with more funds buy better players. What they really need to do is find someone with the funds, willing to invest for them to grow as well. They will recover the investment for sure. Especially if they battle for top 5-6 position
Alot of raggamuffins live in that hood
Sorry to say Luton Town - Standby get relegate
Luton town who gave the Tate brothers?:))

Awful ground..
Worst in the Premier league..
why don't they just build a new one. i see land around there on google view.

Literally embarrassing tbh..
