Thanks. Appreciated. I definitely think as collectors we can talk ourselves in to buying figures that once they’re on the shelf, don’t really add anything new, or could even detract from what we were originally trying to achieve.

My favorite reveal of the day was Storm Shadow V2
Replaying is half the battle. Good to see you guys. TakTak enjoying your custom Joes. Tom you’re just so smooth and pics are sweet. Hopefully some more Joe pics. Dan and risers, ha! I make my own risers too more like diorama look. Man I loved it all! Alpine is a surprise. I kind of like the more slim look for Albert. I’m glad there are loops and places on his gear to store his accessories. I too am concerned with strength to hold weight of figures. I didn’t buy the Iron Grenadiers in the day. Maybe I picked up the 4” as it was a beefy trooper. These Classified IG troopers are also beefy. I’ll have a squad with the BATs. I was hoping they would have done a new attachment other than the chainsaw. I’m curious if these heads will fit other BATs as there are a couple different sized balls to attach heads. Storm Shadow V2 looks cool. I’m like Mark and I think the hood is flipped. But it could be a new hood. I’ll tinker with it. I do like the over all look. I like all the Retro figures. One of Stalker and CoCo for sure. The vac metal is sweet. I may buy four for a specific squad. I’ll get the Maurauders. I like the factions/sub lines. I love the duffle bag! The coolest accessory that makes sense for soldiers. I will get two Stingers like my two VAMPs. I just wish they would repaint those missiles/rocket effects so the orange is near the rear of the missile. I’m gonna try to strip the paint and repaint. It is interesting that since it is an Amazon and Pulse exclusive they got blast effects added and the cost is said to be the same as VAMP, $100. Remember the HISS tank was the worst kept secret. I think Lenny wore a HISS T-shirt around then too. Rattler talk is probably Hasbro generated. They whispered it and it grew and grew. I’m not sure what Michael was referring to. The remaining 13 are Steeler, Flash, Zap, Short Fuse, and Grand Slam. That 82 and rereleases with upgraded articulation with swivel arms in 83. I think the got the rest of 83 now other than vehicle drivers like Ace and the Sky Striker. I think they have most 84 again other than drivers like Deep Six who came with SHARC, Cutter and Whale, and Wild Weasel and Rattler. Just examples. 85 we are missing Airtight. So they of course have different looks for Rock n Roll as well as Commander Hawk who came with missile system. Retro looks will fill in those characters look to the 80s. So lots of Joes done and more to come.

Agreed some more arm attachments for the BATs would have been great to mix things up a bit. You’re probably right on the Rattler, I’d just prefer a ground or even a water vehicle.
