I have owned the 2023 xc90 for about 3 weeks now and I have some things I like and some things I don't like. Design, acceleration, gas mileage, features, etc a re e good. However, for the price u pay, at least make the sun visor extend. Driving sunrise or sunset is hard cause the visor won't reach certain areas. The digital gas guage fluctuates so not sure exactly how much I'm getting out in terms of range. Head rest makes it hard to get accessories to attach to like an iPad holder for the kids or my sons baby cam cause volvo doesn't have adjust headrest with a bar but this is understandable for safety reasons. Another thing is the volvo bedliner comes in 3 parts so if u spill liquids back there, it could seep through if it's a lot and the 3 parts can easily pop off if you are pushing like a box or something over it and u have to reattach it again. The standard charger that comes with the volvo (single phase charger) is super slow. Takes 11 or 12 hours to fully charge so you will have to spend an additional 700 to 800 to get a fast charger installed from companies like charge point, not to mention hiring an electrician. The ac doesn't blow as strong as my ford explorer, and I don't like how you have to change ac settings on the touch screen which causes me to stare at the screen. I prefer some physical buttons but it seems all car manufacturers are heading in that direction. Love the upgrade to Google integration compared to the 2022 model. When u need to gun it and get up to speed, it takes a second for it to take off so hold onto the steering wheel and brace for a slight jolt. These are just small things. Overall, I love the car.

Hi! First off, thanks for your input on your experience. I’m looking to purchase the ultimate as a second car for myself for more long travel use, I currently own a Range Rover sport svr and it’s my favorite car in the world, but the mileage is garbage and the ride isn’t as smooth as it first was 50k miles ago when I bought it 8 months ago. Anyways, I really wanted to get this but I’m going into this thinking it’s going to be a very smooth comfortable long drive car or even comfortable daily commuter. Is that something to how you’d describe your experience with this car?
Volvo's seats aren't only comfortable, but they're anti whiplash, and don't "submarine " in a frontal impact. Probably the safest seats in the industry

The 2023 Volvo Xc90 Ultimate is very nice, it's the most comfortable car I've had. My only problem is it's pretty gutless, and there isn't very many driver options like previous years.
I think it was a bad choice to remove the drive mode dial. I use it all the time and I'm definitely not the only one. I'm glad my XC90 has it (o, and it can go faster than 180 km/h as well)

How is it Polestar tuned? Volvo is not offering the Polestar tune on their website for the XC 90.
It’s a dealer install in the US. As long as it has the air suspension, the dealer can tack it on for the simple cost to them of a half hour of programming.
