We needed a edge rusher since we lost Trey and Davenport is still unproven. It’s a surprise pick but I’ll take it

I knew my team was going DE. Match Cam Jordan. And we picked up Davenport 5th year option. If he can stay healthy. We'll have a lot to cheer about next year

Love the motor, his violence/ aggressive play style, has great size that passes the eye test, definitely has potential if he can be coachable and fix some technique issues, needs more hand usage raw strength won’t win in the NFL like he does on some plays here, and although I love his aggressiveness and intensity sometimes it can get carried away and technique flies out the window for him. Needs to wrap up better. Overall I like what I’m seeing but definitely think the Saints could’ve waited for him but if a team loves a prospect I understand just hope they focus on developing him

*Now I’m not saying he’s as good as Reggie White. I’m strictly saying his playing style and the way he moves and tackles.

Yea I been saw it. most saints fans cried about this pick but when you go back and look at some of those eagles teams reggie white played on they all were nasty hitters and, you win up front if you want to beat brady remember how great that giants front was they just should trade for Hicks he reminds me a little bit of seth joyner, scary isn't it tho if they get them both and their playing styles are so similar

Saints have some of the dumbest fans. you won the division the last three years in a row and, your defensive front were breaking records for not letting a hundred yard rusher, then was a top five sack team. your front during the off season left. you lost rankins, brown Hendrickson, you want to beat brady you have to move him off his spots like the giants. you wanna do that you need dept stop wanting the sexy pick you win in the trenches
