I love spending quiet time in your craftroom with you, Janet. It was lovely to flip through your journal with you and Freddie. I agree, we get new ideas from old journals. I take notes when I watch videos and live streams. I like to make note of something that interested me and I can go back to look because I've jotted down who's video it was. Brrrrrrr out there. I'm so ready for spring and some beautiful sunshine.
Oh Marti thank you so much, you are so encouraging. Oh yes making little notes on videos and ideas is fun, I make little sketches too, especially of pockets. When we were out yesterday although it was icy the first signs of Spring are there, green shoots of daffodils just starting to appear. Have a restful night and Sunday. Happy creating ❤️🕯️

Thank you, it’s certainly lovely to keep these memories in a journal, even if it’s a few tickets and memories scribbled down. Realistically though when the children are young there really just doesn’t seem like there are enough hours in the day !! Hope you get a bit of feet up time tomorrow ❤️

For many years I only had written journals, have always been a 'writer'' , but am enjoying creating mixed media/fabric journals now...always something new to discover... Thank you for sharing the seashore with us. Being smack in the middle of the USA, I don’t get to the seashore. Now we do have some fishing ponds, rivers and small lakes. My seashells are from my favorite vacation spot, Hobby Lobby. If there was a B&B next door, it would be simply perfect. Oh well. I just have to be content with the paper idle instead of the Green Island.

I so enjoy your flip-through Fridays and seeing all your wonderful journals. I am fortunate to live only about 15 minutes from "the shore" so visiting the beach is something I do as often as I can. With my husband ill, the trips are less frequent but the sunshine on my skin, hearing the waves on the shore and the sea birds chatting amongst themselves is free therapy for us both. Blessings to you for sharing.

Look forward to warmer weather but I do love the springtime. Great hyacinths paper and cloth beautiful colour. It all came out super even liked the burnt bits! I’ve never carved a stamp I would like to, maybe one day. Your tea journal cover is gorgeous too, like the idea of a tea one. Look forward to it being made and seeing it progress. Lynn Happy Friday ! 😊 I love the mirror over the fireplace, when we moved into the house, someone had removed the original built in huge one, I mentioned this to Ben he went straight on eBay and found one ! I said we can’t drive to Kingston ( with London traffic takes an hour ) he said no worries it’s not like it’s Kingston Jamaica ! It fitted into his car with just millimetres to spare !!

Oh the mirror is still there above the fireplace, I think that was the darkness of the evening that made it look missing !
