Awesome video. Little guy was on then the whole time he’s going to be a great fisherman when he gets older and dad partner. Love this video it brought memories and tears at the same time when me and my son fished out in the sound for salmon on my old fiberglass boat wow how I miss doing that but that’s whole difference story. Awesome guys savoring these memories with your kid are the best thanks for sharing this video ❤
Thank you Carlos, you’re absolutely right, it times like these that make memories that will last a lifetime!
Love the action right when you started cooking! Isn't that how it always works?!
Nice fish.thank you 😊
👍🏻
Awesome job little man, You did a great job…
Yes awesome...love catching blue backs....thank you for the video. Shoe
This is awesome man
Ha too fun. Cooking while having a double up! Smells good through the computer screen. That kiddo is going to grow up to be a heck of an angler.
Awesome!👍🏻 Thinking to go tomorrow.
Have fun!
Nicely done video.............Looked like and epic day!!!
Thank you! 👍
Great boat. Have fun getting it to the way you want it.
Thank you!
Enjoyed watching the kids land the fish. Great video! What's the portable bbq you use? It looks like a perfect fit for the boat.
Thank you. Here is the link to the portable bbq I used: amzn.to/3RIJy76 Hope that helps. Thanks!
Excellent video. Love the music. I have the same boat, outboards and all! Where did you get the little table you cooked on? Also the little stove? Great job being a great father. Thanks again!
Thank you! The table I made myself, here's a link to the stove: amzn.to/3Rl0v7k Hope that helps. Thanks.
Nice, great video ,,what bait did u use.
THANK YOU for teaching the next generation to love fishing! I'm a couple generations older, and really love getting my Grandkids out!
Can you please explain how you've mounted the bow trolling motor? I have a very similar bow, and am still trying to figure out the best mounting option! I like the look of yours, as briefly as I saw it.
I have it bolted down to the bow. It is very difficult to do as you would need to reach down and to the side. It usually takes me an hour + to get it on. I had to do it a few times as every time I need to take it in for repair I need to get it off and then put back on. I use mine a lot, had to take it in for repair 3 times within last year.
I have the same boat. I mounted base of a minnkota removable mount to the boat. Then mounted the motor to the removable upper part. I then purchased another 2nd upper part and mounted my Columbia river anchor base to it. Now I can remove the trolling motor and attach my river anchor, or vice versa. Works for me.
I can send pictures if you want.
Awesome videos as always! Getting my boat and gear ready to chase after kokanee and walleye soon. What's the limit on kokanee at Merwin Reservoir and I assume you can use two rods per angler there?
Thank you! At the current moment the limit is 10 fish per angler. If you have the 2 rod endorsement you can fish with two rods. Good luck!
Great job Little Man!! Can you tell me what line counter reels you are using. Tight Lines & THANK YOU FOR AWESOME VIDEO!!
Here’s a link for the line counter reels: Daiwa Lexa 100 Line Counter Reel: amzn.to/33GitvV Hope that helps. Thanks.
What mount are you using to keep that trolling motor stabilized while traveling? I need to get something like that for myself
I love those Okuma Black kokanee rods and Daiwa Lexa LC 100H reels. If you don't mind me asking, how much weight do you use on your slider?
I agree. The Okuma Rod + Daiwa Lexa 100 real is probably the best setup for Kokanee. I’ll usually have 1/4oz weights on the sliders.
@@Pacific_NW How long were you running your lines out? Great job!
Awesome. Just picked up my Sportsman today! What’s the story with the sun dried fish at the end. I’d love to hear more about that. I cure meat but I’ve only ever canned kokes after smoking them.
Congrats with the new boat! Dried Kokanee will be some of the best stuff you try if you love jerky. It’s simple I’ll keep the fish in salt for 24hrs then 24hrs in water. Hang to dry, to speed up the drying process have the fan blowing at the fish. You should try it!
@@Pacific_NW will do! Thanks
@@Pacific_NW love it! czcams.com/video/z313dcHknWU/video.html
So you're not brining and smoking. You're brining, rinsing, then sun drying? How shelf stable is the end result? Does it require refrigeration? I've only ever smoked Kokanee, other than pan frying.
What kind of boat is that and year? Great fishing
I have a Hewescraft Sportsman 200
@@Pacific_NW what kind of truck you pulling that boat with?
Easiest lake in the state to catch fish.
What boat do you have?
