  • The problem starts with the on-off button does not do anything. After confirming with a multi meter (use the continuity mode) that the on-off switch still good, I continue tracing the circuit until I narrow it down to the plastic enclosure on the side of the motor. Inside it, there seems to be a metal bit that seems to have burnt off a piece and no longer making a good connection. I think this is their cheap overload protection. I would have used a fuse like the glass or one in the car. Better if they can put a resettable version. Anyway, I replace the blown metal bits with a solid copper wire about the same size not knowing what is the rating of that small piece of metal I found.
