Tonya, sooooooo happy to have found you. You take the intimidation out of making pralines - my husband's favorite! I'm on my way to the kitchen to stir these up and can't wait to check out your other recipes. Your simplification of the processes are amazing and even though I've been cooking for many years I find I still have things to learn. Thanks.

What an incredible goof on the rest of the cooking world! I tried this recipe last night for the first time and my pralines were BETTER than anything I have ever eaten. OMG. Easy, FAST, foolproof. I cut down on the sugar but it hurt nothing and I used walnuts because I had no pecans. But OH how wonderful they are. This Chef has truly pulled the rug out from under all the stuffed shirt cooks who have long complicated recipes with thermometers and warnings and other crap and their pralines are no better. Toya you are a wonderful person to share this recipe and this recipe is just great!

I thank you for this recipe and tips. I love, love, love this one. I’ve looked at numerous channels and yours is the easiest and best tasting thus far. I did make a quite different praline. I had a huge problem when I added white choclate, it thickened up quickly oh my it was such a mess. Instead of pecans, because I had people who didn’t or couldn’t eat nuts, I used cranberries and oats. And instead if vanilla flavoring, I used hazelnut. I will try to post a pic of those. They were delicious.

I’m trying this as soon as I chop up my pecans. I’ve watched many of UTubes pralines recipes but I believe yours seems to be the most reliable and easiest. Probably the best tasting. I’ll find out soon enough, I love pralines.

I went through the same thing this Christmas! I made homemade treats for everyone and ingredients are expensive and the time and effort you put into actual homemade gifts are overlooked sometimes. It’s easy to go buy a shirt for someone but to actually put love and time into giving gifts like this is special! Anyway that’s what everyone got this year but I didn’t get to keep much of it for myself 😢

You described it so well like the volcanic bubbling and the way you scrape the sides. it's very easy to follow your recipe, your voice is great, thank you so much. And then to put it on top of brownies, I never would have thought of that -looks awesome! Just subscribed.

Made your delicious praline nuggets of goodness and everyone asks where did I buy them. Of course in California everything is either Amazon Primed or store purchased..lol.
Excellent candy recipe and your instructions were straightforward easy to follow.
