  • @dwayne7356
    @dwayne7356 Před 4 lety +1

    To be fair, it worked as designed. I had the pleasure of using them on a very, very large construction site for fire protection. They were meant for tamper resistance only. It prevented workers from going into fire panels or opening a valve to get water on the construction site. Yet, it was very easy to tell that somebody had tampers with something. The locks made it so that you could inspect the equipment without destroying the lock. We later changed over to wire seals that were cut off with standard wire cutters, which required new seals every time. In the event of an emergency, onsite and off site emergency responders could easily access the "locked" equipment if they didn't have the correct key.

    In comment under one of your videos you mentioned that Masterlock have some goog products... I think it's one of them lol. Company finally did something that they are best at.

    "Now given the company's well documented, institutional expertise at making locks that are easily open" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
    That has got to be the nicest way of saying the company is SHIT at making locks 😂

    We have these locks on our water mains and dry valves(type of fire sprinkler valve that uses air to hold back water) in the factory where I work. We usually just grab them with a pair or channel lock pliers and twist. Snap right off without putting up much of a fight.

    I'm here because of the comment section of his electronic gun safe video. Someone (probably jokingly) commented "today I'm going to open a master lock with a master lock" and LPL replied with "already done" and gave the number of this video.

    That looked like a lot of effort to open a masterlock. Suprised the shackle didn't just break when you closed it back up.
