Following the success of the Timp Peak in last year’s eMTB Shootout, we were very excited to welcome it back into the fold to go up against the 13 other bikes this year. In case you didn’t see it, this @aribikes took the award for “best bang for the buck” thanks to it’s impressive performance given its comparatively reasonable price tag, albeit under the “Fezzari” brand name. Did losing the “Fezz” remove any of the performance or value proposition? Without giving too much away, that’s a negative.
2024 EMTB SHOOTOUT SERIES - The Ari Timp Peak Pro was one of 14 eBikes that our staff thoroughly tested with absolute objectivity in mind. From different types of riders to terrain, our goal is to present the best and most honest information possible to help you make your best decision. Bought one last year, very light, and great spec. Excellent value. An absolute shred sled! Customer service was great with questions on ordering.

Good point about the frame and rear triangle rock crusher gap. I stuff moto foam in there, but manufactures should absolutely address this before it reaches the customer. All bikes should have PPF pre installed too!
Awesome that you guys came to Branson! I live very close to there! And testing an Ari (Fezzari), I've got a wire peak and love it! What did you think of Howler? This area is trying to build more and more bike trails!

I put a rubber strip tape piece down on lower connection for the frame stay to prevent rocks and mud getting in on my trek rail. Looks similar to what’s on the new Turbo Levo. Simple cheap fix. I bought a roll on Amazon.
Thanks for sharing. We just wish that sort of stuff wasn't needed when buying such expensive pieces of equipment.
I did the same thing... works great. But I agree, it should just be a part of the design. Specialized does a great job of this.
Got one of these in December (so pre-Ari rebrand) and quite enjoy it. I did swap out alloy bars for more compliant carbon bars with a higher rise than the stock to soften out the stiffness. Also put in a Works headset to change to a steeper 64.5 degrees. Bike handles and corners better for me with the steeper head angle - which also lengthens the reach a bit which fits me better as well.

Fantastic bike! I rode one 125 miles all over Bentonville in 2.5 days and it was a blast!

Ari is doing a good job. Although their bikes are still looking like in those early stages where the frames are not that appealing honestly, especially compared to what you can see in a bunch of other brands..
That’s subjective. I like their frames 🤷🏻♂️
@@DoubleTap702 no bro, they are ugly, when do you hear people saying that the frame of a commencal,propain, yetti, etc. are ugly because beauty is in the eye of the beholder, never… some frames are appealing some others just are not
Yall should look into the Transition Repeater its sub 6k now for the GX build.
But they stuck the last generation EP8 motor in it! Makes no sense, especially since the lowest build level has the new improved EP801...

I tried to buy one of these last year. Too many delays and BS from Fezzari to let it happen. Each delay led to the next level bike which was more $$$. They told me the bike shipped twice and it never did. I got my money back without issue.
Thank you for sharing and we're sorry to hear that! We've not heard many stories like that, but it's always a bummer when it happens to you. Hopefully you found another good bike for you.

We actually just got a Vivid Ultimate, which we think is going to be awesome on this bike. We've also talked to people who put an O-Chain, which we will also be doing, and i think those two things would make this bike even more awesome! BUT, yes a coil would do some good things as well.
Has anyone else had build quality issues with theirs? I just got mine and there’s chipped paint on the edges of almost every joint and exposed raw carbon in several places. I love the bike, but the build quality is concerning…

@@TheLoamWolf I took it to Ari (I live close to their headquarters) and they just said, "oh yeah, that's normal". I was just majorly confused. Not the response I'd expect when I point out pretty blatant problems.

Why is the POV always so horrible when watching your channel? Can barely watch with how jittery it is. It’s an easy fix. Cameras are amazing these days!
Looks like a 2011 Yeti ASR7 lol. Ugly looking paint too. Sure it’s a good value but you got to look at it. No Bosch drive unit. Ugly Shimano display.

The rear is lifting because the fork is blowing through the travel pretty quickly. You can see it when you ride.
@DB yup another ebike. Why did you click on the video then? You still mad they allow snowboarding at the “ski resort “ too? Maybe open your mind up and stop being a dick. E bikes are 10x more fun than a flintstone bike…
