Moved from the Wake Forest area in 89 and it sure has changed a lot. Not looking to ever move back but it was interesting to see the changes.
I moved from Wake Forest to Durham in 2016 and it has changed significantly just in that short time!

Do you know anything about living in the Porto Fino subdivision in Wake Forest?
Also to move to heritage you have to be a dr/ IT / lawyer and or someone who makes bank those house are super pricey up to 1.5 .. of course they’re beautiful they are expensive

She said a 100k more than Durham .. lol she’s being generous . What she means is Durham is a cheaper place to live and wake forest is hella white and rich and stuck up. Downtown Raleigh is nice for food. But it’s not clean.

@@raleigh-durhamnc Yes, you will find racism in the triangle area, including Wake Forest. I've lived in Chapel Hill, Durham, Rougemont (for 24 years) and Wake Forest, so I know :-)
Not much for young children to do
We love all of the great parks for kids-especially Joyner Park! But there aren't large children's museums in WF. Short drive to Raleigh to get to a lot more though thankfully!
Lolol she said public schools are great … lie.. wake forest public elementary and middle school is terrible . Bug problem and drug problem . Wake forest is awesome if you’re in a private school and have money.also white street is great only if you stay on white street. Also most people have become super stuck up. People have currently become up in arms about the Wakefield plantation . Wanting to change the name and what not it has become a very some city . We moved away. But good luck it used to be homey. It’s not anymore.
