Wow i think your the 1st to review the Gigi Vibes album. Gigi is one my favorite artists today. I love their covers & how they sometimes re-arrange some songs & make it their own. As for this original album, i think it's pretty good, ill give it a B. There are a few tracks that i like, like Nasayo Ako & First Night. Topak is cute and fun. Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita is my favorite but its actually a cover of a popular song in the 80s. They revived it & it became a hit. Sakalam is a beautiful song but I would have preferred a less complicated arrangement. I like it better when they sing it live (like on Wish Bus). Love the soft parts in the beginning, then the build up, but towards the end, it's goes a bit over-the-top & strays away too much from the main melody, making it hard to follow. As for the other tracks, I have to be honest, but they didn't have much of an impact on me. But it's ok. It's a 1st album & I just know that the 2nd one will be even better. I hope they can just write a simple song with not too much production. They don't need too much of that coz her voice is amazing & the musicians are very talented. Just do the bare minimum, simple lines, a strong hook, ez to follow & sing along. I tell you, it will become a hit. I think they all have potential to become great songwriters. This is just the beginning & I can't wait for their next album. They already released the 1st single called MISTERYOSO which is a cute pop rock song. Gigi has sung covers of songs from my 2 other fave Filipino bands, The Juans & Ben & Ben who write their own music. I love their songs, very simple, clean, easy to follow & sing along. I love it when Gigi sings them, it suits her voice. Hope Gigi Vibes can write something with a similar feel & vibe of these 2 other bands.
Since I mentioned these 2 other bands, The Juans & Ben & Ben, can u do a review of their albums please. They're amazing singeriters & their songs are hits in the Philippines. They have songs in English & Filipino. Not sure if they've come out with more than 1 album, but for The Juans, pls review the album that includes HINDI TAYO PUWEDE & BACK HOME. As for Ben & Ben, pls review the album with LEAVES, & MAYBE THE NIGHT (Ed Sheeran sang this song with them at his concert), & SA SUSUNOD NA HABANG BUHAY (Gigi covers this song beautifully). Thanks

As a musician i agree with what you said about about Gigi and The GG Vibes not making their originals too complicated and just make it easy for people to follow the hook and a melody 😇👍! Here's a good example .. Kitchie Nadal .. Wag Na Wag Mong Sasabihin, Standing on the same ground , ect ... That's how you write hit songs! Kitchie during her time made an impact 👍! I'm still a fan of her music talent. Gigi can also make an impact 😇👍❤️!
@@peteperico8814 Hi Pete, yes I'm glad you hear what im saying! They need a hit song and it needs to be relatable, sing-able, & has a strong hook. Also a song that is not so dark & heavy. I am hoping there will be a hit song in the 2nd album. Its been awhile since i heard Kitchie Nadal. I remember that she is indeed very good! I don't know the titles of her songs so I will look up those that u listed. I hope Gigi Vibes will get inspiration from Kitchie & other amazing songwriters like The Juans & Ben & Ben!
@HappyKat9😇, if i may add also, maybe on their 2nd Album, Gigi incorporate some vocal acrobatics, phrases, vocal fry, vocal distortion, riffs and runs and all the tools we've watched and heard her do on songs like .. Better Days, Fly Me To The Moon, Officially Missing You, Unholy, Through The Fire and other songs where her vocal tone and agility really stands out and sounds so amazing instead of what we heard on her 1st Album 😇👍❤️! More power to Gigi and The GG Vibes 👍🎸! We love you Gigi ❤️!
@@peteperico8814 Yeah imagine if she used all of those styles? It will be the most epic album! I have big dreams for the band, they deserve it. While i love their covers, I want them to be known for their original music. My wish is for them to be known internationally. One day! 🤞 Hey they started out in a garage with just a few subs, and look where they are now, 2.17 million subs & counting!

Also guys last comment remember now this is OPM. Tagalog is a very emotional language, the resonance is different than English and the beauty of the language is part of the performance. Tagalog is a mixture of English Spanish and local dialects, of which there's 187 local dialects in the Philippines can you imagine to make a mainstream album😂🎉😂🎉
