The team manage to improved the program significantly with several new features like HSL curve, Smart Mask AI (Rotoscoping), Zoomable Preview Window, Improved RAW playback performaces and tons of bug fixes.

Congratulations on your return to the channel. I advise you to download a full course consisting of separate videos on the channel, and each video contains education for a specific thing, such as teaching Keyfream, explaining it in detail, and setting the specified time ... and make the videos in order and put them in a playlist

Stabilization is still waaaay behind Premiere or Davinci. - hate using premiere just for that and some basic color fix

It would be really nice to know if you still use the older AVC and HEVC Decoding or the Newer one? (For Preview)
Good to see you back! Nice explanation as always. So here's something I want you to make a video on:
In Vegas Pro, the rendered output video looks saturated compared to the one we see in the Preview window. I tried tinkering with the presets in the VideoFX "VEGAS Levels", but it still didn't give me the correct output. Please let us know if you have a workaround for this.
Possibly a player issue- there should be no difference and you don't need to make levels changes manually in VP 18+. For a better explanation share what media you are using and if it's HDR.

Quick question do you know if Vegas pro or Vegas effects support MOGRT files ?? I have 3rd party plug in effects but Vegas pro doesn’t let me use them cause they are MOGRT files

Would like to see some tips on editing 4.2.0 HLG video (footage from DJI Mavic 3 drone). I'm still learning. Is it wise to turn on HDR mode in Windows while editing any form of HDR? And what about setting the 10bit monitor, Full or Limited dynamic range?
And as of build 403, it's still default set using legacy HEVC decoding, so it's highly demanding on the system and hard to work with. Hopefully it won't be too long when the new HEVC decoder is going to be stable so it can utilise more from my nvidia RTX 3080TI.

@@DatoAliffAlex Hello DatoAliffAlex, I also would like to know how to properly work with 4:2:2 10-bit footage from different cameras (DJI Mavic 2 Pro (D-Log M), Panasonic HC-X2000 (Cinelike-D) in Vegas Pro 20 regarding color correction and grading. I am learning by doing and sometimes I don´t know what I am doing wrong. I can see what all the provided tools are doing, but it´s still hard for me to get the results I am looking for, especially when working with 4:2:2 10-bit footage from different cameras. Most asked questions by myself: is it enough to just use a camera input lut (for example D-Log M to rec.709 for the Dji Mavic 2 Pro 4:2:2 10-bit footage, or do I have to change something in the project propertiers as well? I would appreciate it if you could create a series, my dear friend. Instead of producing only one video on 'How to color grade' using Vegas Pro, it would be prudent to create several shorter videos, each lasting around 10 minutes, on this topic.
For instance, rather than solely concentrating on creating an exceptional text effect in Vegas, you could create a series that explores various text styles. By breaking down each style into separate videos, this approach may help reduce the occurrence of CZcams Idea Block.
There's actually an advanced option so you can customize the project orientation you want to create.

Are you on vegas 21 now with color grading?
Hi. My son has Vegas Pro 20 and has just recently did the latest update. He is having an issue so I wanted to try and explain it here. He has Autism and it's very difficult for him to explain it. So I'm going to try. Under the Plug-In Chooser - Video Event FX, there is a huge list of different plug-ins (Broadcast Colors, Bump Map, Chroma Keyer, etc.). There are several, one being Gradient Map, that when he opens it up to use it, it doesn't completely open up to it's full size. It is being cut off and there seems to be no way to make it fit properly. Does this make sense? Can this be fixed? He went through every single one on both the Video and Audio and found several on the Video side. All of the Audio side opened up to it's full size. He is getting so frustrated because he enjoys making videos. Any help would be greatly appreciated from a frazzled Mom. Thanks!

Do you mean everytime your son load a plugins from the Video Event FX, the window pane of the doesnt show up in properly and cut off some one the control parameters?
May I know does this problem occur after the update?
And what resolution is the computer monitor?
Great, but the main problem is the 4K preview. The computer is i9 13th 13700. 64gb ram. M2 drives. Motherboard z790 aorus. Graphics Radeon. Preview in 4K 50p is not what it should be. The simplest transition does not work smoothly. The program seems to be very tired. I don't want a proxy. I didn't buy this hardware to use a proxy. I set it according to the instructions on yt. Edius, Premiere, Davinci work perfectly in 4K. In these programs, 4K preview works great. It sucks in Vegas. Why ? Please help. I love Vegas Pro. Since 4K, she doesn't want to look at it.
im in the exact same boat as you. Editing 4k 10 bit 422 is so hard on vegas. I only got vegas 20 to see if it was better and it is, marginally than v18 and 19. If you ever find a fix please lmk lol
My dream is have a lumetri color look like native in Vegas. The Stabilization can be better to.
