it's not a v6 but a vr6 it's a totally different engine.

The VR6 engine, commonly referred to as the “staggered six” is a 6-cylinder engine configuration developed by VW in the LATE 1950’s. The name VR6 comes from the combination of German words “Verkürzt” and “Reihenmotor” meaning “shortened inline engine”. It was developed specifically for transverse (Where the engine runs side-to-side while looking at an open engine bay) engine installations and FWD (Front Wheel Drive) vehicles. The VR6 is a highly compact engine, thanks to the narrower angle of 10.5 to 15-degrees between cylinder banks, as opposed to the traditional V6 angles ranging from 45 to 90-degrees. The compact design is cheaper to manufacture, since only one cylinder head is required for all 6 cylinders, much like a traditional inline-6 engine.

As a Golf 5 R32 owner since 6 years I can only appreciate this and give a big like , legend car with an awesome sound and driving pleasure .
That's a weird spec for a hot hatch...beige interior with a wooden steering wheel, but somehow it works and I really like it.

That interior with the cream and wood is not something I would expect from a performance car but I really love it . That’s how I would spec a Supercar, Cream seats and wood everywhere!

I've seen this many times, and idk if it is true or not, when starting the car, is it a MUST to wait for the lights on the dashboard to shut of or not? Some say it will damage the car and some not. Any ideas?

Definitely should start mounting GoPros to the rear bumper for an exhaust sound. The R32 is 1 of the few cars that actually sound better from the outside in my opinion

My sibling had a 08 R32 2 Door in white, with a black interior when I was in middle school.... I remember it was his dream car, and I thought it was such a cool car. It got totaled from a bad accident(not his fault) a few years ago. I now have a much greater appreciation for this car and recognize it as a gem and a legend. Also, I didn’t realize you could get one with cream interior and a wooden style steering wheel. Is that for Euro specs only? (I'm American)

I drove the DSG version. Quite slow but sounds great
in what world its quite slow.... i guess its faster than any polish car manufacturer.... oh wait there are none :) :)

Make sure you get a good one. I beat the snot out of my dsg one for 4 years, many good tunnel runs full throttle. I had a 3 door and it was terrible so go for the 5.
