Hallstein ist nicht nur schön, sondern ihr ganzes Gehabe ist so elegant und attraktiv, ein Vorbild für femininen Charme. Dazu kommt ihre krispklare Aussprache und die erhellende, erhabene Stimme.

Wonderful singer, wonderful actress, wonderful style - and these are under statements! Thank you so much for posting this taste of elegance from a more charming age, both in terms of the silver period of Viennese operetta of which Lehar was arguably the master and in terms of when this film was made.

I appreciate the compliment and also your dedication and hard work in bringing all these wonderful clips of Miss Hallstein to life for those of us who adore her and love the wonders and joys of Viennese and other European operetta. Many, many heartfelt thanks.

Thanks so much for your positive feedback!!! You made me really happy, as I rarely get appreciation for my work. I am also a lover of operettas. I have many more operetta video clips of Hallstein and other favorite singers such as Erika Köth and Margit Schramm, but I am not posting them yet because these operetta videos tend to get very few views and likes.

@@megadim713 Hey I just want to say your work is very much appreciated! I love Hallstein and while I could get a couple of CDs here in Germany, videos are very hard to come by, so please keep posting them!

@@felixoesinghausTo Megadim- sorry, sorry Megadim! I adore operetta and watch all I can find many times. OK so I will be more appreciative in future. graf aus Luxenburg is never heard these days. I have been watching an old, very old Russian film, faded and worn, but better than nothing. So thank you for this. The Merry Widow here gets a beautiful new touch, but is still very popular. However, Kalman , so hard to find beautiful DVDs. Favourite is Grafin Mariza-so very seldom heard or seen. Thank you x 1000 likes.

The peerless Frau Hallstein. I wonder how her German is so crisp and clear!
Been quite busy lately, thus not able to visit the channel as usual :(

In the Da Capo interview she talked about how her mother trained her pupils by putting a cork in their mouth.
