    The new formula doesn't work. I've been using the old henna over 15 years. Every 4-8 weeks. I loved it. Great coverage. Great colour. Covered grey. The new formula doesn't colour grry, barely covers at all and leaves your hair dry. The new formula is crap. I'm beside myself. I've been using henna from lush for over 15 years...but will never again use the new formula. It just doesn't work. Why take something wonderful and make it crap?? They'll tell you it's better. It's not. It's useless now. Lush should listen to customer feedback. 95% of comments on page for the new formula are negative.

    I have been using your henna (Noir) ever since Lush launched in Qatar (around 10 years or so). I was happy with your previous version but the new formula doesn't work at all. The new Noir gives only 10% of grey coverage (a slight amber color). I have used it twice with one week apart whilst leaving it on for 4 hours on the hair and I still get the same weak color. As a trusted customer, Lush must make the old version available or at least modify the new formula to match the previous one and to procure the best result.

    My hair is pretty much black. I want to add a rich red tone to my dark hair. Will going straight to Rouge give me the most drastic dye? I’d like to go as red as possible using henna. If there is a process that yields the best results I’d be greatful. I love how healthy my hair is. I have only dyed my hair once with a box dye around 3 years ago.

    • @LushCosmeticsMiddleEast
      @LushCosmeticsMiddleEast  Před 2 lety

      Hi Alexis! Yes, going straight to Rouge would be your best option. Once you put the henna on your hair, wrap your hair in a towel or shower cap and leave it on for 3 hours. As your hair is naturally very dark you probably won't see a big difference after using just one Henna block alone, so we would suggest getting a few blocks of Henna and applying them over a few weeks for the best result ✨

I was left with virtually no change apart from some yellowish staining in some areas. I used the remaining half the following day just to be sure, and there was no change at all. • @RR4711
      @RR4711 Před 4 měsíci

      @@peregrinefalcon6747yes it does a small amount. Indigo has been used as a dye since ancient times in many countries. If you ever owned a pair of jeans that faded with washes those were probably dyed with natural indigo. The Hungarians have a beautiful fabric called “Kekfesto” which is still made using the traditional methods and indigo. On it’s own indigo is blue but combined with henna it creates black or brown depending on the ratios.

    The new formula is an insult to dedicated customers including myself. Bring back the orginal formula!!! This should no longer be considered a dye because it doesnt stick to my hair anymore. Doesnt cover grays, roots, no longer conditions my hair n leaves it feeling like straw. I was left with a yellowish tint in my hair. This stuff belongs in the trash. Lush should be ashamed. I am no longer a customer unless they vring back the OG formula.
