I have this esp warning light on the cluster all the time on my mk5 golf tdi. Pressing the button and or holding it doesn't turn it on or off. Its stays the same. There is power to the button as it lights up. Any ideas on how to fix this... any help would be great...
@@introfusion6985 actually it was plugged in to a diagnostics reader at my mot centre. The one I have wasn't indepth enough and wouldnt let us access it. Guess that's still a kind of mapping?
@michelcameo5637 I It's on by default, pressing the button (and turning on the light) turns it OFF. The light is to alert you the safety controls aren't operational.
Mine is always off. 4th gear burnouts are fun.

Hi guys, i have that problem, the ASR lamp is always on, and it stays on no matter what you do with the asr button, any solutions?
You just need to press and hold it if you want to turn it off

I don't think he knows. It only took him 10 minutes to unplug the module. But he literally did absolutely nothing.
