    Skip to 12:23 to bypass the marketing lecture. Unfortunately, the programming content is terrible in the second half of the video.

    This is a really bad "Programming Basics Guide".. First of all - Why use an indian, who is hard to understand ? - Why do a lot of copy paste without explaining why ? This is a bit annoying

      I agree, I didn't even watch all of it as I found him very hard to understand and his constant sniffing is very unprofessional - maybe get him to blow his nose a few times.

    This is so shame for the Zebra company to post such video. Where is updated version, it is already 3 years and this video doesn't help at all. This guys is not prepared at all while whole world is supposed to watch this tutorial.

      @@ZebraTechnologiesGlobal thank you very much for replying back. I would love to watch and follow step by step tutorial if there are any(written tutorial will work too), especially I am new to Android but trying to develop android application for a big company with 1000+ Zebra devices.

      This what happens when you farm out your software development to random developers in foreign countries who aren't accountable to the manufacturer. But, they get their SDK developed for cheap $$$.

  • @remastered_gems
    @remastered_gems Před 7 měsíci

    So odd, I just want the scanner to fire and a result to come back. Don't care in the least about pairing. The ToughPad has one simple library to get this done. The SDK doesn't work on our Zebra unit out of the box. The logic of looking at a barcode on the device that I need to scan with, with an instruction to somehow scan the code on my screen with the device itself it laughable logic. And what about Kotlin? Google has deemed Kotlin the Android standard since 2012 and you guys are still writing JAVA SDKs? And how about a tutorial video made this decade?

    I was so hopeful untill part 2. Another expert with a heavy accent who doesn't explain anything. 20 mins of watching someone move their mouse around while screens flash up and down. Anyone know of a better tutorial for beginners?

    • @ericjohanson6423
      @ericjohanson6423 Před 2 lety

      I guess Zebra decided to farm out the development of the SDK to some people in India.
