You can buy a sump plate with a central hole to drain the oil , much quicker and cleaner than taking the plate off .

Good job on that oil change. A new strainer will help. Where did the metal pieces in strainer come from?

Hi I think it was a bit of a washer the previous owner had a breakdown and the fuel pump was changed on roadside and may have dropped it in engine when removed pump? I'm not sure that's just what I think it was.
