X punk goth? What the hell does that mean? I'm in Tennessee. And I am an eternal Cure fan. I hope you can work out your labels with your therapist. While I blast the best music ever made and move on with my life.
Thank you so much for this! This was my first Cure show, and OMG I never thought I could love them any more. Those opening chords of 10:15 sent me into a frenzy! A night to remember for sure. 🖤🎶
Considering they formed in 1978, inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame, and they are still writing and touring, it's about the MUSIC and their influence on a ton of bands and artists of every generation; it's NOT a beauty pageant!
I was at the Vancouver show too. I was so impressed. The Cure kicked ass and such a good, long set. Thank you for posting. I saw them 20 plus years ago on blood floweers tour and they are still just as good as they were then
Damn I love Killing an Arab so much!! It’s a shame so many people think it’s a politically incorrect song when it’s nothing of the sort. It’s an ode to Albert Camus’ “The Stranger”.
show was fucking amazing. anyone remember some of the stuff robert was saying inbetween songs? i got some of it but couldn’t really understand him that well cause of his accent.
I can't believe they played "Killing an Arab" with everyone being so sensitive about killing and race etc. Sounds great! 💋 I would've creamed my pants too if they played, The eXploding Boy! I played in that tribute band for 7 years.
@@tutsybassista There was a time when the girls swooned over Robert Smith. I guess you will have to settle for the dude who hasn't spent the last 30 years overindulging in fish and chips.
As an ex punk/goth I was so grateful they played those last two songs, it made me night. Usually that's reserved for setlists in the UK....so happy.
yeah, normally last night of the uk tour. very unusual these days!
Epic finishing for a great night!!!
They did the same in MTL last Saturday

I was at this show too, could not believe my ears when 10:15 was played. Never thought I’d hear that live.
this needs to be the closer every night....London can't have all the fun!
And, The eXploding Boy!
This was the close set at Riot fest, Chicago

Thank you for this...I was 5th row floor and don't have a camera as nice as yours..mind blown
I was at this concert last night but sat too far away for a good shot of them, so thanks for uploading! So glad they played these songs :)
I think you were lucky not to see have to see them up close. 1985 was a looooong time ago.

I feel sorry for the people that don't feel sorry about how today's young people are deprived of good music.
I was there, and this performance was amazing
Thank you my love for taking the time to play early songs. You have so much to play but you know what we want to hear.

Yup would appear he did. 🔥

Did Gallup leave and come back?
Yup! Left very briefly in 2021
How lucky! Guess he felt BC wasn't too politically correct. 😊
i think most of the fans here can comprehend what the song is actually about
Yep!🎉
