excellent! could you do a video on your technique for the 16ths on the hi-hat? looks like you're using the fulcrum on the second finger, and your index is helping control the drumstick, but I'm not sure
Hey dude, yeah you nailed it! I use my middle finger as the fulcrum and my index finger just gives some support. When I play moeller technique, my index finger isn't doing much to be honest but for french grip & doubles like this, it helps to control the stick! Thanks for watching my dude! Alex

One thing I am curious about (and this just be the notation software which is making this choice): why are the"e" and "and" 16th notes (on 1 and 3) not double-beamed/connected in the notation? I assume it's just for clarity, but just have never seen them written that way. Alex, you da man, thanks!

I honestly didn’t notice that before but I just checked it out on the notation software (Aered) and it seems to just do it automatically when you add the 32nd notes in. I’m not too sure if it’s for clarity or an error to be honest haha but if I was going to hand write it, I’d just leave all the beams as 16th notes! Hope that helps and sorry for the confusion haha!
