Kenneth Bae is a political prisoner in North Korea just for passing out Bibles. Keep Kenneth in your prayers that the United States will send a diplomat for his release.

Mr Bae fully understood what the risks were when he went to North Korea. As a Christian I admire the risk he was willing to undertake to spread the message of Christ, however, it is unreasonable for him to now expect our Government to compromise our stance with North Korea. I lived 3yrs in Saudi Arabia; and have both lived/visited many countries in my lifetime. We can spread the message of Christ by acting Christ-like everday; however, we should also respect the beliefs of the countries we're a guest in, and not attempt to force our beliefs onto them.

Here's a question I often see: Why would anyone want to visit North Korea? Well, why would anyone want to visit another country? To see and experience different things. To engage in trade and do business. To meet and communicate with different people. To get to know and understand others. To spread a little love rather than hate.

The Korean government tells him what to say. He can ONLY tell them what they let him. If he says anything against what the government wants him to say they will severely beat or even kill him. You know he wasn't being treated humanely. It's very well documented that North Korea has no human rights whatsoever. Don't believe anything that he said, just understand that he made his statement under a lot of stress.

Email me a picture of you in front of that fat fuck Kim Il Sung's statue and I'll believe you. Life in North Korea looks like hell from all that I've ever seen, they're all brainwashed that Kim Jong Il invented hamburgers and his dad, that sleaze ball Kim Il Sung controlled the weather. Ive seen videos of homeless North Korean girls who look like skin and bones and they had to pick grass for food. Thats what the government doesn't want their citizens to see and know about. If you were using the world's internet like you claim, you're either a government official or you're using a TOR router and neither of those I believe. What is your IP address?

Thank God he ended up coming home, but I think it’s kind of BS. They let him sit there for three freaking years. I guess you can’t really expect more more if it was me, I would honestly not expected to come home, so honestly, I guess he should be grateful for three years only, Anyway, I’m glad he got released

His health is failing from having trouble sleeping? Great, now the guards will be like, "How hard could the physical labor be if you can't sleep at night? Work harder!"
Honestly. the gardening must agree with Mr. Bae because he looks healthier than ever - at least compared to earlier photos of when he first arrived there. On the other hand, he does seem the most normal of the three americans so I hope things work out for him, or that his sentence is reduced. I'm just thinking aloud here, but maybe if planning on visiting a country that your country has no official diplomatic relationship with, that perceives your country as its primary adversary who has helped strangle the economy through economic sanctions, and whose past relationship hasn't been so great (i.e. like maybe if your former president publicly christens them with a comic book sounding moniker of hyperbolic proportions 'The Axis of Evil' ), well maybe, just maybe you should take care not to break their laws.
