This is my always "go to video". The best angle, views, slow enough to grasp, pattern stays in good location n doesn't fall to the bottom of screen.
For beginners and others too, I think your entire presentation is right on point. You did it so we can observe without frustration , without jerky motions as well. I just wish it was a bit longer on each stitch but I think it's because I'm temporally with a learning curve. I'm ready for more stitches. Great work! Ty

I really want to study fashion design but my parents won’t let me. Based on the designs that I’ve been doing, the most common design that I use is embroideries that’s why I am trying to learn it so that even though I am not enrolled in fashion school, i can still at least enhance my skills in this. Love your videos! Thank you so much💜

If you want to study fashion, do it. I understand wanting to please parents. BUT - There are 2 things that happen on someones death bed. Blessings get counted, and so do regrets. Do not waste your whole future on what feels comfortable for other people. Or you'll wonder towards the end of life if you really lived FOR YOU. Or you could just have a mid life crisis realize you never chased your dreams and freak out. Do yourself a favor, do what feels right for you right now and never stop. Live life on your terms, chase your dreams. Thats the best gift you can give yourself and the world. Especially if you wanna create a petite size clothing line, than i for one would be eternally grateful. Do you, always, and unapologetically.

I'm 60 yrs old I haven't done any embroidery since I was in high school. I thought I might give it try again. It's funny but once I started doing it it was like it all came back to me. All those years came back in a few stitches. I watch videos on CZcams and learned how to cross stitch so now I'm doing both during the winter months.

Hey! End it like a normal knot at the behind, like how you would normally stitch and tie a knot at end to secure it. The difference is normal stitching may need 3-4 knots but embroidery thread needs only 1-2 knots. Hope this helps....

tuck in the thread on the back. once youre done, bring the needle under a few stitches just on the back threads so it doesnt go all the way through to the front. about 4/5 will secure it

I love this woman bc I appreciate her art and great skill! She is trying to share this with others -and also her choice of music we can hear while learning from her which makes it much more pleasant. Classic music is very helpful to the mind. I also love her style of teaching. 🌸🌺💒

@@HandiWorks I am also like you, trying to live a life for others. I am a missionary wife. My husband started a church in the Philippines and we are from America. We have lived there since 2004. 😊🌸💒

@@HandiWorks , have you ever sought for truth? I know the truth. Jesus Christ is the truth. John 14:6 ( a book in the New Testament of the Bible) “Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” Have you ever wanted to be free of guilt and shame? John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Verse 36, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” Do you ever feel your world is dark with no light even while you are trying to do good things? John 8:12 “ Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” We are sinners. Romans 3:23 “ For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” There is a penalty for sin. Romans 6:23a “ For the wages of sin is death...” This is why we all die- because we all sin. But there is not only physical death someday but also a spiritual death. Revelation 21:8 “Bur the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Have you ever committed a sin? Told a lie? Than according to the Bible you are a liar and will partake in the punishment thereof. Sin is punished in hell. BUT... God made a way for you! God’s only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross to pay the sin debt of the world. Romans 5:8 “ But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” We deserve to die.... but Jesus died in our place and made payment. If someone orders embroidery from you they must pay for it. If someone comes along and pays for their embroidery, do they still have to pay again? No, the price had been paid. This is what Christ did for us!!! Christ died, was buried and rose again for all our sins! Do u know you are a sinner? Do you believe there is a penalty for sin, the lake of fire? Do you believe Christ paid the sin debt of the world when He died on the cross, was buried and rose again? And that that means you? Do you believe He died for you? Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If you tell God that you believe all those things and ask Him to forgive you of all your sins and save you from hell-- He saves you, cleanses you of your sin and gives you a new life in Him. I pray that you and all your loved ones will trust Christ and be saved. ❤️🦋🙏🏽💒

Thank you 4 this video, it's very educative! I try to make embroidery from Kalocsa for several years now, but I'm still uncertain, if I'm it doing it right, because I have no one to properly teach me my own culture! Actually I am from Kalocsa, I was born there, like my mother, and she taught me some of this embroidery, but not everything. I guess she doesn't know everything as well, although she used to do this embroidery a lot when she was younger (she knows a lot, just not everything). Now I'm experimenting with different kind of stitches on this style of embroidery, and other kind of embroidery too. I think I should use the stem stitch, when I make stems, but I like to use the backstitch too. And now I will try the split stitch for stems, because I like it. Thank you again, I learned a lot! :)
