I just saw him say this and Immediately came to the comments to see if anyone else caught it. McCarthy also wrote "No Country for Old Men", "The Sunset Limited", and "Child of God" which were adapted to film as well. One of our greatest living authors. If you haven't read Blood Meridian, you should.

Papa was the 2nd comic I saw when I worked at Goodnights in Raleigh, He was hilarious and very kind.

@@finn4435 at the $5 level there are a little over 100 episodes and a few vlogs with an extra AYG every week. Then at $10 you get both AYG and their other podcast Hard Feelings every week (which is arguably better)--so like 200 episodes there. Def worthwhile.

Let me prefaced this with Tom Papa has been on my stand-up Rushmore for 15 years... but his last Netflix special literally had my wife and I laughing so hard the dog left the room, and this episode of AYG is definitely in my top 8. I'm a ten dolla homie so, there is a lot of competition.

Best set in Podcasting. If you’re in college for marketing and like retro premises, take note. This is what the 80-90s looked like. All that neon was only in the commercials. Everything was brown from the mid 70s to the mid 90s.
