This is late but I've used other colors of this and it did take a couple washes for my hair to go back to blonde. It also depends on what color you get (how dark or light it is) and what shampoo you use
If you want a dark result- put it on dry hair. I’m obsessed with these products and I literally recommend it to everyone. Also ice cream brand deep conditioner is to die fooooooor
Roots are not bad...usually those color+ conditioner is for refreshing already colored hair, but if you ever use permanent dye, this is the bomb - using it between coloring hair, it does not even matter what company, they are all the similar. But your roots look like ginger-blonde, natural ginger that is very light, it does blend nicely.

As you use it more the color will deposit and become darker giving more of an auburn color giving more of a natural ginger vibe, I have the same product and it also says to apply when your hair is wet not sure if you stated if it was but it didn’t look like it, maybe there’d be better results if it was wet like the directions say
It honestly faded quicker than I expected, probably only lasted 3ish weeks.. But if you’re consistently using it in the shower it’d obviously last longer👍

It looks gorgeous. But like the other people ask the question if you could please answer for us when you get a chance. Does it stay in the blonde hair? Does it take a long time to come out and go back to your blonde?
hello, absolutely loved this review ^^ i just purchased this conditioner in the shade onyx, and i’m planning to use it to maintain my box dyed black hair. did u use it just as u would a regular conditioner? or did u place it on dry hair and then rinse it out?
You can technically do either. You’re supposed to use it in the shower, but I’d imagine you’d get more dramatic results if you use it on dry hair seeing how there’s no water to dilute the product.
You can't expect a product to color two different shades of hair the same color....and besides the directions tell you what to expect. You got what the product said you would get. It doesn't look bad really, you could have tried to put another application just on the darker part of your hair but on DRY HAIR, it takes better that way.
It actually looks super stylish, I’ve had ALL possible shades of reds & THIS combo is Better than a regular block color, just looks more esspensive

It’s not red at the roots cause it’s just color. There’s no lift and deposit on the roots :)
can you explain more what this means? if i have completely virgin hair what will this do?
It would slightly tone it, rather than have a vibrant color
I just used this stuff, it’s sooo pigmented. I had pre lightened hair so I knew it would be bright but it’s SO ORANGE lol. I look like a carrot 😂

It grabs the hair that is compromised. You can always use that rule of thumb. Use dawn soap because it will strip it out.
Heyyy! How did you remove the color from your blonde? Did it just wash off?? I was a blonde but used this color but I’m scared it won’t come off lol
It washed out pretty quickly!
You can use a dandruff shampoo or a clarifying shampoo to make the process go a little quicker.

The natural.hair doesn't take to it bc the cuticle isn't lifted. Gotta bleach that top part to get it to take the color.
