It is also the most disproportionate, a whopping 330:1 or so in 2021. These stats are hidden deep within reports. The overall narrative stays the same (blame yts). Considering how much this is hushed, I bet many more are going unreported. Why aren't the people speaking up?

Maybe he's homeless. I work for a nonprofit who provides housing for chronically homeless people. Many have mental illness, including veterans with PTSD who self medicated with drugs. You have to go where homeless people are if you want to find him. Sometimes they may show up at a shelter, or there may be a shelter he frequents.
