This stylistic exercise is a tribute to the producers that inspired me growing up. Fans of Jay Dee, Pete Rock, Buckwild, Premier, Havoc, Lord Finesse and Large Professor should definitely dig this . It was entirely produced from analogue sources and vintage equipment, the old-fashioned way. From the record, through the sampler, straight to the 4-track. I chose the cassette format to remain true to the medium of choice of this era.
