I thought song Encore was Triinu’s best ever song and her voice suited it, and we only needed a video for it. Strange now to hear it differently revamped. The ninjary video looks good. Kerli is one of my fav artists(VN are aswell) and even if I loved all the original members of VN, Kerli is very talented and I am so glad that she's in VN. You should check out Kerlis works if you have not already done so. One of greatests artists in Europe imo, very talented and inspiring, just like VN are aswell imo. 🙂
@@ytbr3383 Obviously I know Lenna is the super singer, and I knew Triinu’s sister Kerli was also a singer if not a known one. I’ll admit I don’t know much about Kerli and was surprised to hear she’d joined the group, so I did check out Kerli’s music posts and I see she can play guitar and sing live. She also seems a decent singer in her own category. However her style and twangy voice seems more suited to country and folk music similar to Adel and Suzanne Vega, rather than a rock singer with strong voice. I preferred Triinu's voice in this song, but I’m hoping Kerli's role and voice will add and compliment VN. Every success to VN and looking forward to listening their new music. 🙂
@@ChrisScott0 I think that her voice will add more variation to their sound and I think that they can make use of their differences to create something fantastic, this song is a preview of that. Kerlis voice is unique and can defo fit in their sound, they just need to balance their talents which im sure they will. I love both their older and newer stuff, I hope the next album will be half rock/metalish and half of the more electronic new sound. Maybe some cyber electronic rock/metal, a bit symphonic I would like it to be. I think that amazing art can come out of this. I hope VN will get a even bigger breakthrough since they are one of the best female fronted pop/rock groups in Europe, and I think a lot of musicfans will agree. I hope they will go on tour aswell since I think a lot of fans would like to see them live, both VN and Kerli. I known I would! I slightly prefer the old version with the deep voice of Triinu but in any case we are faced with one of the best songs of the last disc. If there had to be this defection, I'm glad that Kerli entered, she was definitely the best choice and I'm sure she will do well and will give a great contribution with her wonderful voice.

(When are we getting VN ice creams again? 😆) I hope Vanilla Ninja leans towards their old rock and roll style and this "Encore" techno style more than the other "soft songs" in the new disk. Well, it's funny when " when the indians cry" was released I prefered the new version over the album version but this time around the exact opposite is the case. Video needs an explanation to me. Best bit was eating Vanilla Ninja ice-cream at the end. Like cannibals! The integration of Kerli worked well. Nice to keep Triinu's replacement "in the family". It will be interesting to see her influence in the future and she carve out her own special place in VN history like Triinu did.
Finally: Piret's vocals ❤️ Really really missed that on the whole album SO much! Welcome Kerli! Need to hear her voice more to say more about the harmony of the girls. Around minute 1:00 it sounds... a little bit like autotune?
